Omkring klokken 7.45. Bliv afhentet fra dit hotel i centrum af Ho Chi Minh City, og tag til Mekong-deltaet. I løbet af den 1,5 biltur vil vi passere gennem grønne rismarker, inden vi ankommer til det smukke landlige My Tho. Det første stop er Vinh Trang-pagoden. Det er den største pagode i Mekong Delta-regionen. Du vil blive guidet til at udforske det smukkeste, ældgamle og betydningsfulde tempel i Mekong-deltaet. Dette religiøse vartegn går tilbage til det 19. århundrede og byder på en harmonisk fusion af vietnamesiske, khmeriske og kinesiske arkitektoniske stilarter.
Gå til den nærliggende pier, hvor du kommer om bord på en traditionel Mekong Delta-båd til en naturskøn krydstogt på Mekong-floden. Du vil passere forbi Turtle, Dragon, Phoenix Islets og ankomme til Unicorn Island.
Når du går ud på denne rejse, vil du blive fanget af den frodige grønne og livlige flodliv. Fortsæt din udforskning ved at ride en traditionel champagnebåd gennem de smalle vandveje med kokospalmer på begge sider. Denne tætte oplevelse giver dig mulighed for at sætte pris på det unikke økosystem og den lokale livsstil. Efter frokost tager vi en sejltur til Ben Tre – kendt som kokosnødderiget – en charmerende by, der er berømt for sine kokosnøddeplantager, frugtplantager. Du kan tage en afslappet cykeltur gennem landskabet. Lær om, hvordan kokosprodukter fremstilles i regionen. Omkring 15:00 går turen tilbage til Ho Chi Minh City. Ankom cirka kl. 16.50.

Vinh was our tour guide and he was exeptional. He gave us a lot of information on the bus trip down to the port telling us about the local history and way of life in Ho chi minh city. He made us feel very welcomed and taken care of. The boat trip was very good and coconut island was beautiful in general. Highly recommended for a day out! Thanks Vinh!
Mekong delta was pretty chaotic and jam packed. You’re only on there for 10 mins. Not made for big men. 2 hours to get there and 2 hours to get back. Food was decent. Coconut factory was cool. Tour guide was super nice. I wouldn’t recommend it to others.

The whole day was so much fun! From the temple to the islands, everything was very well organised & on time. Simon was an amazing tour guide. He was full of knowledge (& jokes) & always helpful. The only part I didn’t like was when we stopped to eat fruits. They are 2 pythons is a VERY VERY small cage for people to take photos with. The state of the cage was horrible. It is real animal cruelty. This is the only part of the your I didn’t like.
Our guide Dan (Phuc) was wonderful! He was chatty, friendly and knowledgeable about the different places we went to! We went as a 6 with 2 children under 9. The children particularly enjoyed holding the honeycomb boards, the rowboat to the coconut farm and were fascinated by the snakes in the snake wine! Our guide was good enough to answer all the children's questions and enjoyed showing them the live pythons and iguanas that were in the area. Well worth a trip. Would recommend.

The tour was very interesting in terms of discovery of the local people’s way of life and activities. Our tour agent Vinh was very helpful and professional as he. He started with the history of Saigon( Ho Chi Minh City) and tall about the the rice paddies and the tradition of verifying ancestors within the rice paddies. Through the tour he gave us a lot of information about the locals , their activities and way of life. He showed us and explained the different steps of making the coconut candies.
