Beliggende på øverste niveau af d'Arenberg Cube, smagslokalet har panoramaudsigt over McLaren Vale, Willunga Hills og Gulf St Vincent. Nyd en smagning af et udvalg af d'Arenberg-vine. Chalk Hill-arven startede med John Harveys ankomst til Adelaide i 1839, da der boede omkring 6.000 mennesker i Adelaide. Seks generationer af stædige, konkurrencedygtige avlere og en ligeså ivrig vinmager - det er Oliver-familien. Familien lever smæk-knald midt i McLaren Vale og blomstrer på at producere perfekte frugtpakker på deres 100 hektar store 'Taranga'-ejendom. Deres samling af små partier, håndlavede, Olivers Taranga-vine taler om både sorten og årgangen, og fanger en tid og et sted, mens de fortsætter med at dokumentere familiens igangværende 185-årige forhold til landet.

We have booked with George for the past three years for our McLaren Vale wine tour and will continue to book with him every time we come back. His warm and friendly service is appreciated, and the extra touches like taking photos and suggesting new places to visit is always appreciated. He is very professional and personable.

George knew everyone at all the wineries. he catered specifically to our needs. offered good advice, and changed when needed. As a driving companion George was both professional and easy going offered excellent tips and history on the vineyards . The day felt safe and well catered. A brilliant day that we’ll remember for a long time - 4 guys and a wonderful day of wine tasting! George was so friendly and knowledgeable, so we could relax and he drove us to some beautiful places in McLaren Vale that we wouldn’t have known - the highlight being D’Arenberg and “the cube” there - a must see! I’ve told lots of friends and highly recommend George (he even played our favourite music on the way back to Adelaide!). Do yourself a favour and book this - you won’t be disappointed! Great wine tour visiting four very different wineries each offering very good wines to taste. Had a nice lunch on a wineyard with great views over the wines. The guide was superb, very knowledgeable and helpful even taking us to an extra 5th place for a glass of shiraz. We had a great time

George took my wife and I on a simply amazing day tasting wine through the McLaren Vale. While we were a bit time crunched, needing to get back to our cruise ship, we were still able to get four wineries, some breakfast, and great lunch in during the day. George couldn’t have been any friendlier and the best guide. We’ll definitely use him again if we make it back to Adelaide.
