Jeg har boet på øen i i alt 25 år. Jeg er en NAI Certified Guide med over 500 ture på Maui. Jeg giver en ærlig version af hawaiianske begivenheder både fortid og nutid. Jeg forsøger at behandle mine gæster som mine venner og har bevaret kontakten til mange af mine gæster. Jeg har studeret fotografi og vil tage tonsvis af billeder af dig i løbet af dagen. Jeg vil give dig alle disse billeder sidst på dagen. Jeg vil også lave en kort video af dit eventyr uden ekstra omkostninger. Jeg forsøger at give en oplevelse, der får dig til at føle, at du er sammen med en ven. Eftermiddagsturen har en tendens til at have færre menneskemængder. Vi er i en regnskov, så hvor vi går hen afhænger af vejret. Hvis du kan, bedes du bære en tættået sko, hvis det er muligt og ikke flip flops. Vi vil have mulighed for at observere og fotografere grønne havskildpadder og hawaiianske munkesæler.
Dette er en udsigt over Keanae halvøen. Du kan se en hvid kirke lavet af koral og dal skabt af lava. Ofte i vintermånederne er hvaler i afstand
Vi går ned på Keanae halvøen og tjekker SAndys bananbrød og den berømte Keanae kirke.
Dette er stedet at komme helt tæt på med et fantastisk vandfald. Du kan tage et billede, eller hvis du er en sand eventyrer, kan du klatre op på toppen og hoppe over regnbuen cirka 20 fod nede. Der er toiletter og et lille vandfald at lege i, hvis du ønsker det.
Dette er et fantastisk arboret, der har været her siden 1971. Rainbow eucalyptus her er de mest fotogene på øen. Der er udsigt over floder, bambus, fakkel ingefær og mamee æbler. Dette er stedet for at få et perfekt billede i regnskoven på Maui. Alle planter og træer her er mærket, hvilket gør det til det perfekte sted at lære om Mauis flora.

Tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and personable. He took us to get some amazing banana bread and great views. We ended the day at a beautiful waterfall which was private to just our tour group. 10/10 would recommend.

Eric was wonderful! A great driver who knew lots about the island and history of the road to Hana! We happened to be the only ones booked for the day so he tailored the trip to what we wanted most! We got to see wildlife, eat delicious Banana bread from Aunt Sandy’s, and experience some great stops on the road to Hana!

This trip was perfect for us since it was only about 6 hours ( half way to Hana). Having a few mobility issues, this was great.

Grrat communication with Eric on meet up. He goes the extra mile. The drive on the harrowing Road to Hana was a real adventure. But he was totally in control even on hairpin curves. Green turtles! Lush greenery. Waterfalls. It was a good day.

This tour is very small no more than 6 people. This made it easy to ask questions. He eas very knowledgeable about plants and the culture. He also took pictures and then sent them to us. At the end of tour he offered to drive us back to our ship which was half an hour away so we wouohave to wait in the rain for a taxi or uber. A very nice person Mai magical tour good

The employees are very calm and really want to get to know everyone in the group. They are very thorough in the instructions and help relax the people that are nervous to zip

It was a really long drive with not so many stops. Our driver was so sweet and insightful on history.

It sounds like the main takeaway was that it felt like a long drive with not as many stops as you were hoping for. Totally fair — the Road to Hana is a bit of a scenic marathon! That said, we did visit all of the stops included in the tour itinerary, and we were lucky enough to have great weather that day. Not every day cooperates the way yours did — you got to see turtles, whales, waterfalls, and even had the chance to jump in at the waterfall, which is about as “Maui day” as it gets! We truly appreciate the feedback and will always keep looking for ways to make the experience even better. Thanks again for joining us!
Erik was awesome. He’s super knowledgeable about Hawaiian history. He treated us to fresh pineapple, apple bananas, banana bread. Despite the rain, it was a blast. We saw waterfalls, giant sea turtles, and enjoyed all the views. He made multiple stops and took photos of us and even created a video for us. I highly recommend him!
