Marrakech Desert Camel Ride

Our family had a fantastic experience on our ride. Our camel guide was so friendly, attentive and charming. His animals were well looked after, full of personality and tame. We were made to feel so welcomed. Our 6 year old daughter enjoyed it so much. I would highly recommend this experience..

Mohammed and Mohammed gave us a wonderful trip to the Argan oil cooperative, a location with a panoramic view, a tea break with lovely birds, and a smooth journey to Essouaira. They gave us lovely background information on the location. 100% recommend. Our 4 year old had a wonderful time at the beach. We felt very well looked after on this excursion!

UK explorers. Once the trip was booked I received a quick email stating place of time of pick up by Mohamed. The day arrived, the driver was on time and very friendly, it was a short trip to the destination where we was greeted and provided clothing- if wanted. The staff were friendly and happy to take photos and make sure our experience was lovely. The camel ride was an hour long which you could take it all in. Once the camel ride had go to the end they sat us down and provided us with tea, the best one I have tasted yet! Overall a very calm and pleasant experience. Highly recommend.

Best day out on the whole holiday. We had a great walking tour of the atlas mountains with an amazing lunch in a local home, the best Tagine you can get. Followed by a camel ride at sunset, absolutely magical. Our driver Ali was so friendly and helpful and was happy stopping every now and again for a panoramic photo opportunity. He even went out of the way to show us the best view he knew of and wow.... incredible!

A little nervous being a lone parent however I was put at ease the moment I contacted Muhammed before we arrived in Morocco. I contacted him by email to ask about the meeting point, best way to get there and costing etc and he was very quick to reply and very helpful in his response. We were kindly met at our hotel for a reasonable fee. Consider uk taxi rates for a 20 minute drive and back and this was very very well priced. I was conscious about our attire and wishing to be respectful as possible to the locals so we were pretty covered however we were dressed gowns and head dresses so next time I will likely wear shirts and vest or t-shirt rather than trousers given the temperature We arrived at the camels, very excited to see the calves also. After dressing in the gowns and headwear, Myself and my 5 year old were able to share one and my 11 year old went on one solo behind ours after the staff took plenty of lovely photos for us on my phone. Off we went with Diile our guide. I wish I knew more Arabic or French to express how happy we were. It was lovely to see many other camel parties on our ride around the Groves. There was a man ok a motorbike with a lovely pro camera offering to take lovely large photos with morocco flags and writing on the print for 20 dirhams. Unfortunately I only brought enough for my taxi, otherwiseni would have purchased one. We could see the mountains in the background. There was a lovely breeze to cool us down a bit also. The ride itself was very comfortable and I even had the camel behind by my leg so I could give it a nice pet 🙂 Diile stopped to take some more photos for us which was very kind. Before we headed back to our patch. We arrived after 1hr and removed our lovely traditional clothing, sat down and enjoyed the tea. I had 3 lots and my children weren't keen. I personally enjoyed it. It was sweet and reminded me of a Minty honey like texture and flavour. I would definitely get in touch with this provider next time we visit morocco 🇲🇦 Thank you for the most amazing experience

We booked a sunset Camel ride with Tilila travel. Mohamed was our guide and was amazing. Firstly he was very responsive via email answering questions we had. When we were picked up by him from our hotel he was more than happy to talk, make loads of funny jokes and teach us some Arabic, which made the ride unforgettable. He also took time to explain about life in Morroco and showed us different music from around Morroco too. The Camel ride was excellent with Berber tea on arrival and an amazing camel ride as the sunset with lots of photos. I'd really recommend this or any your with Tilila as our experience was amazing.

We can't choose our favourite part, the experience was incredible, the view was stunning and the guide was super friendly, helpful, funny and trustworthy.

It was great from start to finish! Never been to Marrakech, or a palm grove or on a camel before and it was great fun, everyone was really friendly and kind and the camels seemed very happy too.

We spent the afternoon in agafay desert. The experience was very organized: - the guide picked us up at the hotel. He was very nice and friendly and explained us many things about Morocco and it’s culture during the trip - the camp at the desert was cozy and safe and before the tour we were offered traditional tea - staff at camp were very welcoming. Before the camel ride they dressed us with a tunic and turban in order to avoid sunburns - the camel ride was of of course touristy but enjoyable - not too long or too short
