Tag på en uforglemmelig rejse med Vertex' erfaring i Zapallar, Valparaíso-regionen. Fra Santiago, vil vi udforske denne kyst perle, begyndende med en malerisk kystvandring gennem Cachagua og Zapallar. Oplev den rige flora, fauna og beskyttede dyreliv i dette område. Senere tager vi en båd til naturmonumentet Cachagua Island, hjemsted for kolonier af Humboldt-pinguiner (pinguinerne migrerer til denne ø mellem november og marts. Our recent trip with Vertex Tours to Zapallar, Chile, was a delightful experience filled with scenic views, engaging activities, and delicious culinary delights. The journey began with a pleasant hour and a half drive from our starting point, during which our knowledgeable guide, Esteban, shared fascinating insights into Chile's rich history. Upon arrival in Zapallar, we embarked on a leisurely hike offering breathtaking vistas of the city and the sparkling ocean beyond. The tranquil surroundings provided a perfect backdrop for absorbing the natural beauty of the Chilean coastline. One of the highlights of our day was the boat ride to Penguin Island, guided by a local fisherman. While it was the end of the season, it was still incredible to witness the penguins in a natural habitat. After our adventures, we were treated to a sumptuous lunch featuring fresh seafood paired with excellent Chilean wine. The meal was rounded off with mouthwatering empanadas. To conclude our excursion, Esteban led us on another nature hike, further enhancing our appreciation of Chile's diverse landscapes and wildlife. Throughout the trip, Esteban's expertise and passion for his country's culture and nature were evident, adding depth to our experience. His friendly demeanor and attention to detail ensured that every aspect of the journey was enjoyable and educational.
