My daughter and I vacationed in Costa Rica in June and we contracted with The Baqueano Chauffeurs to transport us from Liberia Airport to our resort. They also were our private tour guides for four full days. Charles Forbes took wonderful care of us the entire time. We didn’t have an itinerary established before we got to Costa Rica. We left it up to Charles to hear what we like to do and plan our daily activities. He was always on time, very entertaining, listened closely to what we like to do, planned the days activities and made sure the car was clean and fully stocked with beverages and snacks. Denis was our driver to the first resort and to our second destination. He was courteous and professional and also took us on a hike on our way to the second resort. I highly recommend the services of The Baqueano Team. The service they provide is exceptional. My recommendation to those reading this review on Trip Advisor: if you are planning a trip to Costa Rica, be sure to call The Baqueano Chauffeurs and Tours. They go above and beyond with their service and attention to detail.

My mom and I's first trip to Costa Rica and couldn't have asked for a better tour guide. Charles was very knowledgeable about where to go and how to hit all the spots we wanted to see. He knew the best places to go for food and most importantly, chocolate. Cannot wait to go back.

Our first visit to Costa Rica with the mom and daughter team. For the first time anywhere, we splurged on this guide/driver package. Our experience was outstanding! Charles drove (huge stress reliever), knew the best sites to visit based on our interests - all coordinated beforehand. Best restaurants, food, scenery and authentic Costa Rican experiences that made it memorable. I can’t wait to go back and do it all again. If he tells you to be up early to go somewhere - ya gotta do it. We packed in more in 4 days than 40 days on other trips. He kept us from sitting in Traffic and maximized our time. Would not have seen or done nearly as much without him. This was money well spent.

My husband and I recently returned from our first trip to Costa Rica. We had a wonderful experience, due in large part to our driver/guide, Charles Forbes, The Baqueano. Charles was highly reliable, very well-informed, eager to meet our needs, ready with suggestions for activities, and very kind. He drove a comfortable air-conditioned SUV, equipped with WiFi, and he supplied us daily with beverages and fruit. He directed us to delicious dining and the best chocolate shop in Central America. He took remarkable photos of the exotic animals we encountered and shared all of them with us. We can’t say enough good things about Charles and will be forever grateful for his introduction to a beautiful country.
