Magome til Tsumago Vandretur fra Nagoya
Beskrivelse
Fra Nagoya tager toget og derefter bussen til Magome, en af postbyerne langs Nakasendo, den gamle handelsrute, der forbinder Tokyo og Kyoto i Edo-perioden. Derfra vandre den 7,8 kilometer lange sti til den næste postby Tsumago, en endnu ældre og mere smuk bjerglandsby. Vandreturen fører langs gamle stier gennem skove og fantastisk natur året rundt. På Tsumago vil du prøve den lokale Hoba Miso til frokost samt nogle lækre soft-serve is til dessert. Afslut din tur med et besøg i byens museum eller en valgfri træværksted (tillægsgebyr).

This is the tour my husband and I were looking forward to most on our honeymoon. It definitely lived up to our expectations! For this trip we focusing on nature/history/culture, so this hike was right up our alley. We went on the second day of our trip, and our guide Patricia quickly felt like a friend, and was open to any questions we had not only about the historic towns and landmarks on the trail, but also generally about life in Japan. The food was delicious, and very much welcome after the hike. We did not do the wood carving add-on, but only because we didn’t want to carry the wooden dishes so early on our trip (we packed light). However if we had planned on the hike near the end of our trip, I would have definitely wanted to do the wood carving add-on. Would recommend this tour if you are into nature/history/culture. We also plan to do more tours with NagoyaIsNotBoring if we are nearby in the future.

What an awesome tour. Despite the light rain all day, Desiree, our guide made the hike memorable. She was well organised and all the transport went smoothly. Desiree was knowledgeable on the region history, and ensured we had plenty of time for photos and to explore the Historic Magome and Tsumago. The lunch was delicious. All in all a fabulous day and so invigorating being in the forest. Highly recommend this tour - the company name says it all Nagoya is not Boring.

We feel pampered and taken care of at all times. We were a group of 14 Spaniards. Very professional, empathetic and nice, both she and Patricia. They deserve a rating of 10/10.
