Beskrivelse
Denne 3-timers madudflugt i Nafplio tager dig til nøje udvalgte madbutikker, hvor du smager nogle af de fineste oste, vine, kaffe og is, der findes i byen. Samtidig besøger vi de mest berømte monumenter i byen, såsom den katolske kirke, pladsen St. Spyridon, pladsen Saint George og den gamle by, som introducerer os til byens lange og vidunderlige historie.

Vi henter dig fra vores mødested og vi begynder vores udflugt med en tur i de maleriske gader i Nafplio med dens neoklassiske palæer og venetianske altaner.
Vores første smagestop er en traditionel købmand, hvor vi smager lokale sorter af ost og pølse, og vi lærer deres lille produktionshemmeligheder af købmanden.
Derefter går vi til Syntagma-pladsen, byens hjerte. Vi lærer mere om denne historiske plads og de omkringliggende bygninger.
Fortsætter vores tur, passerer vi gennem kvarteret ''Yialos', og vi smager lokale varianter af vine i en kælder-vinbutik, mens ejeren fortæller os kunsten at lave lokal vin.
Vores kulinariske udflugt ender i en autentisk traditionel isbutik. Når vi har vores is til rådighed, går vi til stranden i Nafplio for at beundre den venetianske fæstning i Mpourtzi og lære mere om dens historiske eksistens gennem århundreder.

This was a fantastic tour, Sophia, our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and she checked in with us that we understood and if we were all ok etc. As we explored the streets of Nafplio Sophia told us all about the local landmarks and history of the town. We visited a third generational family of cheese makers and tasted the cheeses of the region. We continued on to a master of wine and sampled many local wines, finally finishing at a local Greek restaurant. The food and whole experience was fantastic. We have two children who can be fussy with food but they had a great time on this tour! Would highly recommend it to everyone.
