We did 6 different dishes, with the teacher having us to some of the work and she doing other of the work so the class moved along. The instructions were clear and the food was great. And, to top it off, the teacher and her entirely family went above and beyond to help us when our car got stuck going up a steep gravel road after we left.
What an amazing day! Fabrizio was a fantastic host and the entire experience was fun, educational, informative and delicious. Definitely worth the admission fee. Location is fantastic - stunning views across Fabrizio's vineyard and olive fields. Cooking outdoors made it extra special. Receiving the cookbook by email after the event was an extra nice surprise. We will be trying out the recipes at home. We were a group of 6 in total. We are a family of 3 and we shared the experience with a family of 3 from Boston (USA). Even our teenage son enjoyed it and said it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Also, Fabrizio's wine, olive oil, olive grappa and honey are incredible. Bought loads to take home with us. Delicious. Thanks again Fabrizio - you made it such a fun day.
We had such a fun experience while on vacation in the Tuscany region. It was way more than I expected.
GO HERE!!! Camilla is absolutely wonderful! Only 30 minutes outside of Florence! The views are spectacular, the food is delicious, and the host family is soooo kind and friendly! The experience felt so authentic. They get all their food and produce locally, not at supermarkets. We had so much fun and the biggest the class can be is 12 people, so It felt intimate and special! You cook and eat outside on their farm overlooking the rolling hills of Tuscany - you can’t beat this unique experience! They have other excursions like truffle hunting with Camilla’s son and one of their dogs! I would go back every day if I could!!! The family let the group stay well past the time It said online, just to let us enjoy the company, food and farm. I will absolutely join this wonderful family again on my next trip to Italy!
It was a wonderful experience! A highlight of our trip. Couldn’t say enough about the hosts and the food.
When in Italy cooking is a must to get the full experience. Non- better than Cooking with Cami. Camilla was a very gracious hostess and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. She made you ‘Familia’. The food we prepared was delicious and their own pressed wines were amazing. Highly recommended. I want to go back!!
We went on our honeymoon and this was one of the best things we did! He was very nice, helpful, and made us feel welcomed. I highly recommend anyone in the area taking this class! Their farm was also beautiful!
My husband and I booked a truffle hunt for our first visit to Italy. The truffle hunt was awesome! We learned so much about truffles and really enjoyed watching the dog sniff them out. Later we walked back to such a Beautiful family farm and met the Romoli family. Fabrizzio set out cooking areas for our small group on a wooden table overlooking the vineyards and olive trees. It was such a peaceful setting. He took us step by step in making our pasta. My husband is not a cook and even he was successful at making fresh pasta. Fabrizzio gathered up all the pasta, cooked it and paired it with an amazing sauce and topped it with the fresh truffles we found that day. Prior to dinner, his family prepared an Amazing Charcuterie board filled with fresh meats, cheeses, breads and homemade oils and honey!!! We were also treated to homemade red and white wines and for desert his daughter made a delicious Apple crumble! To finish the meal, his son brought in some homemade liquor to sample which was just the perfect finishing touch! I didn't want to leave this paradise! The hospitality and food was Incredible!!! We even were able to purchase items and have them shipped back home. You definitely want to book a day here. You will not regret it!!!
Camilla has a beautiful farmhouse that looks over a carpet of Olive trees and grape vines. We made pasta, bread and more! Sat outside and had wine and had more food than you could imagine! There was one other couple so it was a very intimate setting. We loved it! She is a fabulous person. A highlight of our stay! Thanks Camilla!❤️
