Food was the best we had in Chefchaouen. Host was amazing. Meat tagine was the best especially the lamb.

This was supposed to be an English cooking class but the “chef” couldn’t speak English or translate ingredients and spices. It was NOT a cooking class. We sat in a living area and chopped a few vegetables while the “chef” and his wife did the cooking in the kitchen. It felt as though we were there to help prepare a meal for the family rather than learn how to cook Moroccan food. Very disappointing especially as it was not cheap - a complete waste of time and money. It was definitely not a cooking class as we actually didn’t do any cooking.
Thank you for your feedback. However, we need to clarify a few things. We worked very hard to change your booking at the last minute because you asked us to. Our chef was very busy, but he accepted your request because he wanted you to be happy. During the class, we also gave you extra food that you asked for, like Harira, even though it was not part of the price. Regarding the spices, the chef explained them and they were easy to identify by sight. Also, while transport was not included, we did our best to give you clear directions back to your hotel. It is sad to see these efforts ignored. We are proud of our Moroccan hospitality and we are sorry you did not feel this way.
