From the moment that Nuno appeared in his bright green Renault 4 to collect us from our hotel, we knew this trip would be fun! We were not disappointed. Nuno is an excellent guide, a charming personality and extremely knowledgeable. While driving us through some magnificent scenery, we learned so much about life in Madeira from Nuno. The itinerary suited us well and it included a welcome break for coffee at a cafe overlooking the beach at Ponta do Sol. We thoroughly enjoyed Nuno's company and highly recommend him and his characterful green car for your best experience in Madeira.

Highly Recommend…..Amazing tour of Maderia with a fantastic guide Nuno. We were collected from our hotel in the quirky green Renault, what a beautiful car! We toured the island visiting fisherman’s village, viewing platform and a local bar to try Poncha. Nuno was a fantastic knowledgable guide, he was warm, attentive and friendly, his driving was very safe too which is always important, he also took pictures for us throughout the tour. We loved every minute of this morning tour taking in beautiful views as we toured up and down the mountains, if you are looking to book a memorable tour I would highly recommend the tour. We will definitely be back to island and plan to book a full day trip with Nuno. Thankyou Nuno!! 👏👏👏

Wow! We booked a half-day tour with Nuno and enjoyed every minute. He picked us up from our hotel in Funchal in his classic Renault 4 and explained the plan for the day. Throughout the journey, Nuno spoke about the local area and answered all of our questions. He also had some excellent recommendations for restaurants! As part of our tour, we visited Câmara de Lobos and Cabo Girão, as well as stopping at an authentic bar to try some poncha. It was lovely to get such a great insight into Funchal and the surrounding area. Nuno even recommended a concert in one of the nearby parks that evening, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. We couldn't recommend him highly enough!

I honestly can’t think of a better way to experience seeing parts of this beautiful Island. Nuno was an outstanding guide and is a lovely human who took great care to take us to places he thought we would enjoy. The icing on the cake was travelling in his wonderful Renault 4 which was a dream come true for my husband who is a Renault 4 enthusiast. This tour has truly made his holiday! Would 1000% recommend.

Best excursion from a cruise ship for a solo traveler. The trip went around the west side of Madeira, some really pretty stops. Personalized time and few destinations. Wonderful day to spend on the island.

We can't explain how great this tour is. Nuno is wonderful, very laid back and is happy to fit around anything you'd like to do but gives great advice over what works well. We enjoyed chatting to him over coffee learning about Madeira and as for the Poncha experience, never to be forgotten. Don't be fooled by other tours, this is not your run of the mill tour and we had so much fun. If we visit Madeira again we'll definitely organise something with Nuno.

We had a fantastic trip with Nuno as our guide. His green Renault 4 reminded me of our first car back in the 80s. He showed us many sights and explained the whole culture of the island to us. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Madeira.

My friends and I enjoyed a truly fabulous day with Nuno He was so much fun and very knowledgeable about his island. We toured many stunning locations. I had done a northwest tour before but I saw places on this adventure that I had not previously seen. He did a fantastic job avoiding the tourist crowds AND finding the best weather, local food and poncha! Truly a special day We all recommend Nuno 200%!

Nuno is an exceptional guide. His knowledge of Madeira is second to none, but it’s his passion for this beautiful island that makes him such a compelling companion. He tailor-made our trip for us to ensure that we visited parts of the island we hadn’t seen before. Then on the day he constantly tweaked things to keep us away from the rain so we could enjoy Madeira fully. He’s friendly, knowledgable and full of information about all things Madeira. We are already thinking about where he can take us next year when we return. We can’t rate him highly enough and would give him 10 stars if we could.
