På denne heldagstur vil du udforske det smukke inkacitadel i Machu Picchu. Citadellet byder på forbløffende monumenter såsom hovedtemplet, kondortemplet og Intihuatana.

Vi henter dig fra dit hotel i Cusco tidligt om morgenen. Så kører vi til Ollantaytambo.
Vi kører gennem Inkaernes Hellige Dal. Vores destination vil være den lille by Ollantaytambo. Der tager vi toget til Aguas Calientes.
Vi går ombord på toget til Aguas Calientes ved Ollantaytambo-togstationen.
Når vi når Aguas Calientes, tager vi en bus til Machu Picchu citadel.
Når du først er i Machu Picchu-citadellet, vil vores guide give dig en rundvisning på stedet, inklusive de mest berømte monumenter såsom Intihuatana, Condor-templet, Hovedtemplet og Soltemplet.
Efter at have udforsket Machu Picchu, tager vi en bus tilbage til Aguas Calientes by. Når vi først er der, har vi tid til at udforske byen og spise frokost. Derefter tager vi et tog tilbage til Ollantaytambo.
Når vi ankommer til Ollantaytambo, vil vores personale overføre dig tilbage til Cusco i vores private køretøj.
Efter at have forladt Ollantaytambo, kører vi tilbage til Cusco gennem Inkaernes Hellige Dal.
Vi ankommer til Cusco omkring kl. 20.00.

Our guide was Juan de Dios, and he was the best tour guide we could ask for! He was super clear and organized with directions on where to go, where to meet, what time we enter / exit each Inca ruin, etc. Juan was also incredibly knowledgeable about Machu Picchu and the other ruins we visited like Ollantaytambo or Moray. He explained the differences between pre-Inca, Incan vs Incan imperial style architecture and pointed out examples, and for each ruin also gave a history of the peoples and events that occurred in each place. Juan also taught us the Quechua names for most of these as well! Overall, Juan was the best guide we could ask for, and I would highly recommend Inka Trail Explorer
Juan de Dios was our tour guide, and he always went above and beyond to help us learn and make us comfortable. He has been so patient and kind to us. He is like an encyclopedia of Peruvian history. We like to call him professor. He took us to so many different places and highlighted the importance of each place. He has a heart of gold and made our trip the most amazing experience. Highly recommend booking with the Juan and only! ☺️
My friends and I (group of 5!) came to Cusco and had Juan de Dios as our tour guide for 4 days. One day we did a city tour, then sacred valley, then Machu Picchu. We added the sanctuary. It was a beautiful experience. Juan really made me feel like he cared about my friends and me, he shared so much about Incan history and about himself. I LOVED him as a tour guide and will definitely recommend all my friends who come to Peru in the future. Juan is amazing.
