We had an amazing time touring Nara, Kyoto and Himeji over two days with our family of 6. Our guide Vicky was fantastic and helped us plan an itinerary that allowed us to see everything we wanted to see on our two days in the area. We were here during a cruise, and our driver and guide met us directly at the port. They also provided Japanese snacks for us that were so fun to try! Communication was excellent before and during our visit. Before our visit, we were asked what type of food we wanted to eat. They took us to excellent restaurants which we loved. My teen girls really wanted to try tanghulu and our sweet guide found the perfect place for us in Kobe Chinatown, even though this was not on our original itinerary. We loved having a customized tour that allowed us flexibility that we wouldn’t have had if we were on an official excursion from our cruise. I would recommend this company to anyone coming to Osaka or Kobe ports.

Our tour guide Koko, kind like an old friend! She is not only professional, but also very warm and friendly. Unlike the usual only according to the Guidebook, she introduced each attraction with a lively and interesting story, so that the whole trip was full of energy and easy fun, even my children could hear the taste of tsunami. She also took very careful care of every member of the team. Knowing that we have older people with us, she especially reminded my parents to pay attention to footsteps; when she found someone tired, she also flexibly adjusted the pace of the trip and arranged a break. There was no communication from the tour operator before the trip despite me reaching out. I contacted Viator about this. On the day of the trip we arrived at the pick up point but the tour operator did not show up. I tried to contact them by phone and Viator reached out but by email no response. Viator have requested a refund from the tour operator and I now have to wait 7 days to see if this will happen. I did not get to see Kyoto because this trip was planned on my last day in Japan. So disappointing.
