Oplev en verdensberømte lysende lagune, hvor vandet glitrer om natten, når det bliver rørt på grund af mikroorganismer, der bor i det. 25 min bådtur langs floden med valgfri svømning efter solnedgang vil efterlade dig med uforglemmelige minder. Rundvisningen ledsages af en gratis frugtpunch. Vi støtter lokale virksomheder, og denne tur finder sted fra en lokal cafe, ikke en hovedindgang, hvor alle hoteller medbringer deres rejsende. Derfor ville vores gæster være i stand til at observere det lokale liv, engagere sig med beboere i lokalsamfundet og opleve mere privat bådtur. Ofte havde båden ingen mennesker eller få ekstra gæster. Bemærk venligst, at krydstogtsprisen ikke er inkluderet, hver rejsende, der går på båden, vil blive opkrævet $20 USD ekstra. En tur starter med en afhentning på ethvert af Montego Bay-hoteller eller ferieudlejning og fortsætter med en naturskøn køretur langs det smukke Caribiske Hav. Vi besøger Lagoon på et meget lokalt sted, der forhindrer gæster i at håndtere køer og menneskemængder. Gæsterne vil blive tilbudt en gratis drink i et semi-privat afslappende miljø. Så går vi videre til en båd. Vi forsøger ikke at overfylde båden, og de fleste af vores ture foregår i en gruppebådtur på 5-10 personer. Lær om historien og legenderne omkring lagunen. Alle gæster har mulighed for at svømme i disse magiske farvande. I slutningen af turen har vores gæster mulighed for at prøve et lokalt køkken i en nærliggende restaurant (kan være lukket på grund af Covid). Turen afsluttes med returtransfer til dit hotel/airbnb. Hvad skal man medbringe: håndklæder, badetøj, professionelle kameraer (det er svært at fange sande farver i vandet med en telefon). Bemærk venligst, at rejseprisen kun er fra Montego bay.

We had a fantastic trip with Michael our driver! He was very friendly. The lagoon was magical, but heads up the photos are $10 per person. We were a little unclear about the local cuisine mentioned in the description but when we told Michael we were hungry he made sure we got local food. He gave us great recommendations. Definitely recommend booking!
The Luminous Lagoon Site Seeing Tour was quite the experience. From the driver, to the other passengers riding down with us everything was a vibe. Once we arrived we were greeted and served complimentary drinks and started the tour shortly after. The tour guide was very friendly, informative and made sure we enjoyed their time out on the water. The luminous lagoon night excursions was really different from the others and was just good energy all around. I was delighted my host invited us out to the excursion it was the definition of a well spent night while in Jamaica.
The service was outstanding! Pick up on time, very comfortable and safe drive to the boat station. I felt very welcomed. Welcome drink was included. Don’t forget waterproof phone case for unforgettable memories😊

Very cool! Wish we had more time swimming but it was a chill and awesome experience! Adrian was very nice and let us know about other places to check out. He is a wonderful guide and made sure we were ok.
I took a tour with love travel Jamaica with Adrian, it was s last minute decision that I do not regret at all! The boat ride was smooth and all the people were lovely. The plancton feels like glowing glitter on your arms. It's magical! Adrian was a great driver and tour guide. Highly recommend!
Very remarkable experience, never seen anything like this before. I would highly recommend to do this activity while your vacation. Needs to bring a towel and water shoes if you plan to swim. They offer the pictures for extra pay so you will need to bring cash. Our guide was amazing and helpful. Thank you for nice memories. Nina and Mark

Hi Jazza, thank you for your review of the Luminous Lagoon Tour. Our staff never asks for tips. However i can't speak about boat operators. I think there is a standard message by all boat captains at the Lagoon saying if you enjoyed a tour, please leave a tip. The tour is not about entertaining but experience one of the nature wonder of observing a phenomenon of bioluminescence.
Our experience was very scary. It was our first night in Jamaica. No one was there to pick us up at pick up time. I had to call, and the owner of Love Travel Jamaica said, “Oh is that tonight?” She then said she would call to get a driver. She called and said Al would be there in about 25 minutes (this is about an hour after the original pick up time). Al came. There were no markings on his car, he did not wear anything indicating he was a driver. We got in the car. He talked to us about his sex life including strangulation during sex and sex with animals. He’s okay with lesbians, but not okay with gay men. Like WTF?!?! So we are driving and driving. Longer than we had anticipated. My friend asked how much longer until we get there. He says like 20 more minutes. We turn down some muddy roads, driving through residential homes, dogs roaming, people wandering around outside their homes. We pull into a rocky, muddy parking lot. No other tourists in site. We are at The Drip Lagoon. It is dark, we are surrounded by locals. The boat looks rickety. There is no other tourists joining us out there. After the uncomfortable conversations on the way there, we did not feel comfortable, bailed on the boat trip, reluctantly got back in the car with Al, because we didn’t have any other option. My window is down, and a man sticks his head in begging for money, which didn’t add to our comfort. Thank goodness we made it back to our hotel all in one piece! We used another company the next day, and it was a complete 180! The other company even arranged a trip the the lagoon for us, and it was nothing at all like we had experienced on the first night! I would not recommend Love Travel Jamaica to anyone.
