Luftballonflyvning over Masai Mara National Reserve

Mateo was an awesome pilot and the entire experience was beautiful. Afterwards, we had a champagne breakfast, where the food was as great as the hospitality. An absolutely amazing experience.

The whole experience arranged by Top Africa Safaris in collaboration with Little Governor’s Balloon Safari’s was spectacular. From the moment we were picked up early morning by Little Governor‘s Safari guide we were filled with excitement and anticipation. We were shown many animals along the way by the driver as we approached the ballon take off site. The safety instructions and our Balloon pilot Serge were excellent and extremely safety conscious. The ride itself was smooth and out of this world. We got to witness sunrise over Majestic Mara and saw many animals waking up to the sounds of dawn and going about their business. The sight of large herds of wilder beasts and Zebras running viewed from the high vantage point was stunning. The landing was buttery smooth without any bumps credit to the experience of our wonderful pilot Serge. The breakfast area was picturesque and peaceful. The breakfast itself was sumptuous with lots of variety catering to all dietary requirements. Post breakfast Safari was wonderful and we saw large herds of elephants, a pair of black Rhinos which is extremely rare to sight, Lions, family of hyenas frolicking in muddy puddles and much more. This Balloon Safari is definitely worth doing and I highly recommend it for families with kids as it turned to be the highlight moment for us as a family with a child.
