Beskrivelse

This tour made for a fun night. The pre-party on the top floor of a taqueria was high energy and good vibes. The lucha libre masks that we were gifted were better quality and detail than I expected. The guides made sure we got to the arena safely. Of course, the wrestling itself was a blast! But ... The group on a Friday night was huge - about 90 people. The guide's microphone wasn't very good, so I couldn't really understand much of the information that was supposed to teach us about Lucha Libre. I need to watch YouTube videos to figure out was he was talking about. And the tacos weren't very good. Just something to fill your belly before drinking. If I were to do it again, I'd splurge on a smaller group tour, or I'd just watch videos first to figure out the wrestling and I'd eat and drink someplace better before the event.
It was honestly a lot of fun if this is something you’re into. If you enjoy wrestling you would really enjoy this. The tacos and tequila and learning about the culture was pretty cool and the guide hosts were so kind! If wrestling isn’t your thing and you’re just doing it because everyone told you it’d be an unforgettable experience like us, I’d probably skip out.
Brilliant experience. The guides made sure everyone had fun. The wrestling was as you expect. Fully entertaining and the crowds go wild. Definitely do this.
The food was amazing! and the guide was fantastic- he made sure we had all we needed- translator-food guide-party planner- and most of all professional lucha educator! gracious!!
Super fun and exciting experience. The area for the dinner is above the restaurant. The hosts made the experience lively and fun. They also gave brief history and rules of lucha libre, which was helpful.
Amazing experience, pre game before you go to the lucha libre!! Great people you meet, overall 10/10
Absolutely amazing night. Ivan, Miguel, Arturo, Nancy and Bruno were all a lot of fun. I may have missed a couple of names. Tequila and Mezcal was flowing the entire time at the taqueria. They laid down a lot of knowledge and history about tequila, mezcal and Lucha Libre; and made it enjoyable at the same time. Absolutely loved the icebreaker game which got all the different groups of people to mix and mingle with each other, but in a way they someone that is an introvert would not feel out of place. Wishing you luck with this endeavour, and hope that you guys are still around the next time I am in Mexico City!
This tour included tacos, tequila, and mezcal at a local taqueria. It was pretty fun and, unlike a lot of tours in Mexico, the tequila and mezcal didn’t taste watered down. Ivan, Miguel, Arturo, Nancy, Luis, and Erez (not sure of the spelling of her name) were all great hosts and kept the party going. I thought we were going to get a sales pitch to buy some “exclusive” mezcal but it really was just an educational background about mezcal and how families in Oaxaca use it, its history, how it’s made, etc. Heads up if you have little ones, a lot of insults and the like are taught on this tour because it goes hand-in-hand with the wrestling culture. The wrestling was so-so for us because we are not wrestling fans in any sense, but we like to explore local culture and felt that lucha libre is a part of Mexican culture. It was rowdy, it was fun, a little corny, but the fans are wild and it’s a very interactive experience so pay attention to what Ivan and crew teach you about the choreographed crowd sayings and such.
Ivan, Miguel, Nancy and crew treated us to such an unforgettable experience. They served us some great food, educated us with facts and slang about wrestling and most importantly got us into the venue which seems to be a bit tricky! They even took extra care of a guest with some physical challenges and made sure he had a great experience.
Excellent, very family-friendly, the group was very engaged with the activities, the food was super tasty, plenty of mezcal and tequila… The area felt like another world, very lively, and with the surprise of having BTS right in front of us.... I loved it, I would do it again.
