Oplev Patagoniens kulturelle hjerte på denne dagstur fra Puerto Madryn. Rejs gennem den naturskønne steppe til Lower Chubut River Valley, og besøg den charmerende walisiske by Gaiman, hvor traditioner, kapeller og den berømte walisiske tekultur stadig lever. Fortsæt til Trelew, hjemsted for det berømte Egidio Feruglio Paleontological Museum (valgfrit besøg), en af de vigtigste i Sydamerika, der viser imponerende dinosaur fossiler og igangværende videnskabelig forskning. Denne tur kombinerer historie, kultur og landskaber, der tilbyder en unik indsigt i Patagoniens walisiske arv og naturhistorie. Efter at søge til passagerer for deres overnatning, tager vi ruten 3 i retning til Valle inferior del río Chubut. Vi stopper først i replikaen til den største dinosaur i verden.
I byen Trelew kan passagererne vælge at besøge Museo Paleontológico Egidio Feruglio (MEF) som er et center for udstillinger og forskning. Besøget inkluderer en tur, der er programmeret af en tidslinje mod fortiden, fra de første menneskelige indbyggere i det argentinske Patagonia til fremkomsten af primitive mikroorganismer.
Vi følger vejen til Dolavon. I denne lille maleriske by har vi en rundvisning i byen, og derefter besøger vi Museo Regional La Mercante (fri og gratis indgang), for at lære lidt mere om historien om de første butikker i området. Den samme posee su mobiliario en estado original.
Terminada la visita nos vamos a visitar una chacra de producción de fruta fina (frambuesas y frutillas). De la mano de sus propios dueños conoceremos la historia del lugar y veremos los cultivos. Los pasajeros tendrán la posibilidad de comprar productos regionales como mermelada y cerveza artesanal. Fortsæt el viaje, en unos 15 kms. al oeste y sobre el margen norte del Río Chubut, se encuentra la localidad de Gaiman (Casa de Piedra), se destaca por ser el primer municipio de la provincia de Chubut. Después de un city tour por el poblado, para disfrutar de la arquitectura y bellezas del lugar, se visitará una de sus famosas casas de té galés. El Té Galés es una costumbre familiar galesa. Forma parte de la cultura de Gaiman y los turistas lo encuentran para agasajarse en distintas "Casas de Té": el Té con su típica torta negra galesa, tarta de crema, torta de nuez, tarta de manzana, torta de chocolate con crema, y tartas con frutas, dulces y manteca regional, scons y pan casero.

Very good the Paula Guide. On this second visit, he took us to walk Gaiman, showed us the houses that maintain their "original" facades. Very good empanadas from Gaiman and at a very good price for lunch (El Sandwichito). We also had a little tour of the city of Trelew: hotel Touring where Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid were, as well as Antoine de Saint Exupery.

Nothing of the other world, it is not worth traveling so many kilometers to drink tea however abundant in cakes. There is nothing else to visit, it is not justified. Welsh cake is also sold at Pto Madryn.

Respecto a que no hay más lugares para visitar, le recordamos que en nuestros tours visitamos: la réplica al dinosaurio, museos en Dolavon, city tour en Gaiman, y tomamos el té; además de visitar una chacra de producción de fruta fina, por lo que se hacen más cosas que sólo tomar el té. Por otro lado, si bien se puede comprar la torta galesa en Puerto Madryn, la ceremonia del té en una casa de tradición galesa es una experiencia totalmente distinta a simplemente comprarlo en Madryn. Lovely, relaxing day for my 30-something daughter three and I visiting charming Welsh towns in the region and an organic farm, learning about the region’s history, touring historic buildings, having afternoon tea. Shorter day with later pick up in between two 12-hour tour days to see whales and penguins, so nice change of pace. Tour guide Fernando was thoughtful, attentive, spoke English Recommend.
