The Louvre can feel a bit overwhelming at first. When I enter a museum like this, it sometimes feels very serious, old, and almost too “grown-up” for me, if that makes sense. But the audio guide made the experience much easier and more enjoyable. It added some lightness, a few funny moments, and explained the stories in a way that actually kept me interested. I really appreciated that, because history is not just about facts — it also matters how those facts are told. A good audio guide can completely change the mood of a museum visit, and this one did exactly that for me.
Dissatisfied without an audio guide.
Our card was charged but we never got tickets. We got to the Louvre with conf & res#’s but no ticket. Need refund.
It sounds like the Louvre played a little game of “now you see the reservation… now you don’t” 🎭 Just to clarify (and to save future visitors from any plot twists): this product is an audioguide for exploring the museum, not an entry ticket — so the Louvre still asks for its own golden key to get inside. The confirmation numbers you received unlock the stories, not the doors 😉 We hope your next encounter with the Louvre is filled with masterpieces, smooth entry, and an audioguide that actually gets to do its job instead of waiting outside in suspense 🖼️
They showed me only the highlights of the Louvre and the explanation was easy to understand and fun, and I'm glad I used it. Also, the app informed me that the artworks that had been cancelled from the exhibition would be cancelled. If you download it beforehand, you can use it offline in the museum. If you want to restart the Guide app for any reason, you will need to download it again, but you can use the free Wi-Fi in the building to download it. The app is excellent, but GPS won't work or get out of position in the building, so it's useful to get a separate map online.
Louvre can be overwhelming. And it was during my first visit. It's huge, it's packed, and you could wander for hours. That’s why I downloaded the audioguide this time. It works offline so I just put my headphones in and followed the route. Best part is that it pointed out stuff I would've walked past. The commentary was gripping with stories, legends and fun facts. Recommend exploring the Louvre with the audioguide
Very poor experience. I booked the tour tickets for 2 amounting to 120 GBP for 1200 hrs. During my way to the venue, I got the message the tour has been cancelled. I then booked another tour immediately for 17 GBP and when I arrived, there was nothing. Completely cheated.
We’re really sorry your day in Paris turned into an unexpected “mystery tour” 😅 But it sounds like you may have booked a different experience and then left the review here by accident. Our product for the Louvre Museum is only an audio guide — we don’t sell guided tours, tickets, or anything with a meeting point (so no guide to cancel, no venue to disappear, and no need to run across Paris at 12:00 like in an action movie). You simply get the instructions right after purchase, download the app, and start whenever you like. So the good news is: if you choose our audio guide next time, nothing can derail your visit. If you did purchase our audioguide and had trouble accessing it, please contact us at support@touringbee.com — we’ll be happy to help and make sure your Louvre experience goes much more smoothly.
Do not buy this, you have to jump through hoops to get this downloaded and once you do, it turns you around. Lost in translation I decided to just roam about with the museum map. If anything buy the audio guide there instead.
We’re genuinely impressed you survived the Louvre with only the museum map! Many travelers say that wandering the Louvre without a guide is a bit like going grocery shopping without a list: you walk in for one thing and suddenly you're staring at 47 paintings of fruit wondering how you got there. Sorry to hear the setup felt like “jumping through hoops”. Usually it’s just clicking the download link from the confirmation email, but sometimes technology decides to test our character. And yes, the Louvre itself can easily turn anyone around — even GPS gets confused there. (We’re pretty sure some corridors were designed by a minotaur.) We hope that despite the labyrinth-like layout, your visit was still memorable.
I found the guide very short and not as complete as I hoped. It was difficult to find what he was talking about.
Seems like even 45 stops weren’t enough to satisfy the artistic appetite! 🎨 The Louvre does have that effect — you come for a quick audio stroll and end up wanting a PhD in art history. Next time we’ll try to convince Mona Lisa to spill a few more secrets herself. 😉
I purchased this smart phone audio tour. I received an email with a link for activation instructions. When clicking the link it did not work. Emailed customer service have not received a response.
We are sorry to hear about your experience. Our support team replied to your message just 8 minutes after receiving it — it’s possible that the reply ended up in your spam or junk mail folder. Please check there, and feel free to contact us again if you still haven’t received it.
I strongly advise you to bring an audio guide for a walk around the Louvre, because without it you will either get lost or lose your way and waste your time. We chose this one and didn't regret it. The guide tells interesting stories, makes funny jokes and gives a little historical background, without which it's hard to understand what you're looking at. This is not a tedious lecture, as it sometimes is, but an entertaining story. I advise you.
