A great experience, I went on the cruise with a friend over from Western Australia. The weather was challenging, the only thing missing was snow! The guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining, this was my second trip and the style of presenting was different to the first trip. If you ever get to Inverness or the Highlands of Scotland, make sure that you get on a Jacobite Cruise.
Hi there, Thanks so much for the lovely review! We are so pleased you enjoyed the cruise, despite the weather! We will pass your kind words onto our guide, and we hope to welcome you back on board with us again soon! Kind regards, Team Jacobite
We loved the boat tour and we would definitely go again! We appreciated that you could sit inside and admire the view and still occasionally pop outside to take pictures. The tour guide was absolutely hilarious!
My parents were visiting, so I thought it might be nice to take them on a two-hour trip with Jacobite Cruises. Our tour guide was Kieran. He made the tour an absolute pleasure. His knowledge, humour and passion for the subject were evident in his narrative and completely made the experience for me and my family. We especially appreciated his story of the Vickers Wellington, which 'landed' and was subsequently raised from Loch Ness. His knowledge was superb. I can highly recommend the experience. Further, the cafe and shop were very well presented and not at all 'too' touristy. Some places go over the top on these things, but this place was very comfortable, pleasant, and the food was better than expected from something calling itself a 'cafe'. All in all, great experience. I have more family visiting soon, and may very well bring them here, too. Doing it twice would not bother me at all. Especially as the weather changes here in the Highlands so much that no single view or experience is likely to be the same. Well done all :-)
Hi there, Thanks so much for your lovely review! We are so pleased you enjoyed the cruise and will pass your kind words over to Kieran, he will be thrilled! We would love to welcome you back on board with us again soon! Kind regards, The Jacobite Team
Thoroughly enjoyable cruise even though Nessie didn't make an appearance, but the rainbow and Urquhart Castle was stunning. The hot chocolate with a wee drop went down a treat.
Thank you for such a lovely review, we are so glad that you had such a lovely tour. Hopefully we can welcome you back again soon for another Nessie hunting session.
We liked the tour a lot. Although… The guide, I suppose everything he explained was very interesting, but only in English, so we didn't understand it. Even though I requested the Spanish guide option in the reservation, the only thing there was in Spanish was a little sheet with four paragraphs. In that sense, terrible.
Thank you for your your 5 star review, we are sorry that there was a miscommunication about the languages. We hope you get the chance to come back to us here at Jacobite.
Friendly, knowledgeable professional service from an obviously dedicated team. Excellent facilities and the craft was comfortable and well maintained

A busy boat but such a great tour. Kieran was our guide and he was clear and easy to understand, combining stories, facts and humour and some quiet periods to enjoy the scenery. It was just the right length at 2 hours with a mixture of information about the loch, history and the area. Would definitely recommend.

It was fun, but the best was our guide Ines. Her knowledge has no end, talking about history, details, fauna and flora. Everything we saw, she had a some comment or fact store for us. She took the time to tell the Kelpies story to my kids. Great meeting her and happy for all the things we learn that day.
Hi there, Thank you for the lovely review. We are so pleased you enjoyed the cruise and will pass your compliments onto Ines, she will be thrilled! We hope to welcome you back on board with us again soon! Kind regards, The Jacobite Team
Great for adults. Not for children. My child sat sideways on his chair. The moment his knee touched the seat, Iain (a member of the crew) was on hand to tell him to sit down.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your visit felt disappointing, especially when you were hoping for an enjoyable experience with your child. We appreciate your comments and hope we might have the chance to welcome you back for a better experience in the future.
This was so fun and a fascinating trip. My 12 year old really didn't want to be on a boat but even she loved it towards the end. The guide was really informative without talking too much and the boat wasn't crowded, which was great. We got some amazing memories and photos
