Lissabon er romantisk, smuk, historisk og i det hele taget en fantastisk by. Mange af os, der bor her, tager et helt liv for fuldt ud at opdage alle dets vidundere. Vores Se-Det-Alle-tur har til formål at give dig så meget som muligt på så kort tid som muligt. Byens arv er over 800 år gammel, og der er meget at lære om det. Fra barok til gotisk arkitektur, til de smalle gader i vores ældste kvarter Alfama, er vi ikke i tvivl om, at du vil blive fordybet i denne unikke oplevelse. Vi har til hensigt at vise jer alle, begyndende med Parque Eduardo VII, og forbi Águas Livres-akvædukten, en af de bedste stykker portugisisk ingeniørkunst i det 18. århundrede. Vi besøger derefter UNESCO-listede steder i Belém-tårnet og Jerónimos-klosteret, monumentet for opdagelserne og busmuseet. For at toppe turen stopper vi på et af vores mest berømte udsigtspunkter i Lissabon. Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara, og afslut med en fantastisk vandretur i Alfama, for at nyde vores populære kultur og atmosfære!

Beliggende nord for Avenida da Liberdade på toppen af Pombal Marquis-pladsen, står den største park i Lissabon. Oprindeligt kaldt Liberty Park, blev det omdøbt til ære for kongen af Englands besøg i 1903. Det ville fremover blive kaldt Edward VII Park. Disse to alléer, der er udviklet langs 25 hektar jord, er parallelt med en lang græsstribe med mange lækkerier og afslappende udsigter
Selvom det skjuler nogle mysterier, blev det betragtet som det smukkeste sted i Lissabon ved århundredeskiftet, den imponerende struktur hæver sig over Alcântara-dalen. Opførelsen af en akvædukt for at bringe vand til byen gav kong João V muligheden for at hengive sin passion for storslået byggeri, da det eneste område i Lissabon, der havde vand, var i Alfama.
På bestilt af kong Manuel I blev tårnet bygget fra 1515 til 1521 for at være en fæstning midt i Tejo. Udgangspunktet for Discoveries' navigatører, denne manuelinske juvel blev symbolet på portugisisk ekspansion.
Et monument til rigdommen i Age of Discoveries, det er højdepunktet af manuelinsk arkitektur i perioden. Det blev bestilt af kong Manuel I omkring 1501, kort efter Vasco da Gamas tilbagevenden.
Dette massive monument, som ligger højt på flodbredden i Belém, blev bygget i 1960 for at markere 500-året for Henrik Søfarerens død.
Denne trænersamling er nok den bedste i Europa. Busserne er fremstillet i Portugal, Italien, Frankrig, Østrig og Spanien og dækker tre århundreder og spænder fra de enkleste til de mest sofistikerede.
Udsigtspunktet São Pedro de Alcântara er et af de bredeste og mest ikoniske udsigtspunkter i Lissabon. Det er lige ved siden af toppen af Glória-kabelbanen og tilbyder en særlig udsigt over byen. Her kan du se hele Avenida da Liberdade, Restauradores og Baixa, samt bakken Castelo de São Jorge, med sine imponerende vægge og sin fotogene grønne krone af paraplyfyr. Du kan også i detaljer se udsigtspunktet Igreja da Graça med dens imponerende kirke.
Et fascinerende kvarter på ethvert tidspunkt af dagen, men som kommer til live først på aftenen, når indbyggerne går på gaden og værtshusene begynder at fylde op. Dette er en vandretur forbi slottet S. Jorge, Igreja de Santo Antonio og katedralen i Lissabon (Sé).
National Pantheon er et af symbolerne for Lissabon, men også Portugal. Dette er trods alt det sidste hjem for store skikkelser i vores historie, såsom Amália Rodrigues og Eusébio. Det særlige ved dette sted er dog langt fra begrænset til rejserne for dem, der hviler der. Opførelsen af denne bygning begyndte i det 16. århundrede. Rui was amazing: patient, available to cover it all. We visited beyond what was scheduled and Riu was flexible to accommodate our needs. The Royal treasure of the royal palace is definitely worth a visit. Riu has so much experience that he can give any piece of advice on what is worth visiting and what to expect.

Jose was an extraordinary guide. Not only did he take me to all the places and neighborhoods I hadn’t visited in depth-Christ the Redeemer monument, Alfama, Almada, Chiado and Barrio Alto, he took me to two of the seven highest viewpoints of Lisbon. At each, he was able to point out all of the different neighborhoods, the property where I was staying, different monuments, palace and more. The views were spectacular. From there we had a lunch at a spot only frequented by locals. Not only was the food spectacular, the owner of the restaurant gifted me with a tile plaque commemorating the restaurants anniversary and also a poster of the restaurant. Our last stop was the Royal Palace of Lisbon. I have no comprehension as to why not is not one of the top rated points of interest in Lisbon as it is breathtakingly beautiful. We virtually had the palace to ourselves along with the gardens and greenhouse. Throughout the day I learned so much about the culture, history, architecture and development of Portugal. This was the perfect ending with the perfect person on a perfect trip. I could not have asked for more nor could I have been with a more entertaining, knowledgeable and decent person.

Wine yards and wine tasting was great, but aven better was the driver <3 no rush at all and he was very helpfull with everything. He had good local knowledge and also he did know lot from the history of Portugal. If you are still thinking to take a tour from Avenidas, stop the thinking and call them and make a reservation. I have to give 10+
Booked this tour and they never showed up. Was depending on them since we only had a short amount of time to explore Lisbon. I heard they had great reviews for tours/drivers so I was very excited to book them. However, I called and WhatsApp messaged them multiple times and never got a response. Very unprofessional.
Dear Deja, We are really sorry this client did not have the tour today. This reservation came in the early hours of the day prior to the travel date and our e-mail did not receive notification for it. Moreover, the contact attempts to our number through whatsapp, were not ideal because we have hundreds of chats there and things get lost very easily. It just so happens that there was a problem with the Viator notifications and we did not get an email informing of the reservation (which can some 24 hours prior to the tour). To be honest, as much as we regret not being able to serve this tour, which was in our best interest, we do not believe this situation is deserving of giving us a rating of 1*. Especially when, unfortunately for both of parties, you did not experience our tour/service at all. Wish you all the best, Manuel

I am one of a group of six women who contracted to be driven from the Lisbon airport to our Airbnb home on the evening of May 29, 2019. We had been lead to believe our house was in Sintra near restaurants, shopping, and transportation. Instead we found ourselves in the middle of a very rural area with none of the above within walking distance of our house! I was obviously upset about our situation, and told our driver, a young man named Marccio Passos, how we had been mislead when we booked the house. He saw our predicament and took it upon himself to call his boss and make arrangements so he could offer to be our private driver for the next 2 days. Not only that, but he also drove us to a grocery store that night and waited while we got provisions for making dinner and breakfast since we had nothing in the home. The next two days he was delightful, taking us to all the must see places in Sintra and then giving us an incredible day of visiting “his” Lisbon. He took us not only to the tourist attractions we requested, but also to an awesome local pastry shop, Pasteis de Belém, where we tried the famous Pastel de Nata. Later he surprised us with reservations at an incredible restaurant, Ponto Final, which was a highlight because of its location and great food. The bottom line is that Marccio turned what would have been a disaster into a wonderful experience for all of us. I believe most drivers would have thought us a bunch of silly women who did not do proper research and would have left us without another thought. I’m so thankful we had to good fortune to have Marccio as our driver the evening of the 29th. He had the integrity and empathy to go the extra mile and I will be forever grateful! L.Coffin
