Vi starter med Sintra, hvis kulturelle landskab er en UNESCO World Heritage Site, hvor du vil have fritid til at udforske landsbyens centrum med sine typiske smalle og stejle sten gader og fremragende landskaber. Mød din guide på Praça da Figueira i det centrale Lissabon for en mindeværdig lille gruppe dagstur til Sintra og Cascais. Wonderful tour!! We went off season and it was rainy, but still a beautiful tour!! We ended up going back to Cais Cais several times after the tour.
We had a wonderful full-day tour of Portugal, and our guide, Joao Gomes, made the experience even better. He was relaxed, friendly, and made everyone feel comfortable from the start. Pickup was easy, yellow shirt can’t miss. The tour includes quite a bit of walking, including cobblestone streets, hills, and an uphill walk (or short hike for some) to castles. A few people in our group weren't fully prepared for the walking (flip flops or sandals with heals) but Joao did an excellent job supporting them while also keeping the rest of the group on schedule. He balanced everyone's needs with patience and professionalism. We had a nice amount of free time to explore on our own, for lunch, drinks and snacks, and the schedule offered enough flexibility without feeling rushed, but enough time for lunch and drink/coffee. It really is a full-day tour, but it was worth every minute, no regrets! A few tips for future travelers: Wear comfortable walking shoes. Stretch your legs before the tour, you'll appreciate it! Bring a water bottle, although there are plenty of opportunities to buy drinks along the way. Bring some cash, as a few smaller shops during free time are cash-only, though many places accept credit cards. If you have any walking or mobility limitations, contact the tour company before booking. Portugal is beautiful, but it can be hot, hilly, and full of stairs and cobblestone streets. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I highly recommend this tour. Thank you, Joao, for making it such a memorable day! Our guide, Joao, was incredibly knowledgeable and brought each stop to life with stories, history, and the symbolism behind what we were seeing. We especially appreciated the insight he shared at Quinta da Regaleira, where every tunnel, garden, and tower seemed to have a hidden meaning. There was a little confusion at the beginning regarding the pickup location, but once we connected with the group, everything ran smoothly. Transportation was comfortable, and our small group size made for a very enjoyable experience. Our first stop was Cascais. We only had a short visit, but it was enough time to enjoy the ocean views and charming atmosphere. The highlights of the day were Quinta da Regaleira and Pena Palace. Quinta da Regaleira felt like stepping into another world, especially the famous Initiation Well and underground passageways. Pena Palace was equally impressive, with its vibrant colors, incredible views, and fascinating mix of architectural styles. Our guide also recommended an excellent spot for lunch and a wonderful place to grab dessert in Sintra, both of which ended up being highlights of the day. Overall, this tour was well organized, informative, and a fantastic way to experience some of Portugal’s most iconic sights. We highly recommend it.

Covered sites as expected. Overall a pleasant day. Knowledgeable of area. Organized and on time. Our tour dd run until about 6 pm, but I think our group slowed us down.
