The refurbished edifice is spectacular. The guide was knowledgeable but much of what he said was unintelligible. This tour NEEDS quiet boxes with a good microphone for the guide.

The tour itself was interesting and informative. However the guide was impatient and in a hurry. We were supposed to be there 15 minutes before. 20 minutes before he was repeat calling and messaging. We were paying our cab. He was loudly telling me that we should’ve able to see the meeting point “right in front of me”. This was a mass of humanity we were navigating. It was rude. We were on time and the tour began ten minutes early. We did our part. He was rushed for some reason.

Extremely well-curated tour by extremely well-informed and knowledgeable guide. We had decided to take a tour rather than attempt a tour by ourselves. The guide had a treasure-trove of knowledge which he supplemented with photos on the iPad that he carried with him. We would not hesitate to book a similar tour with him if we chose to return for a second tour.
