På denne vandretur vil vi diskutere interessant historie, beundre den smukke arkitektur, give indsigt i kreolsk køkken og afsløre filmoptagelsessteder. Vi kan endda smugle et kig ind i nogle af de smukke kreolske gårde! Perfekt som en fransk kvarter orientering eller for dem, der søger at berige deres New Orleans ophold. Du vil også lære om nogle af de bedste New Orleans restauranter og byens mest berømte retter...og hvor du kan få dem! We had a wonderful experience on our New Orleans Secrets walking tour with Tylyn Anson. As a local resident, he was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the history and culture of the city. Tylyn showed us all the key sites, answered every question we threw at him, and made the tour feel both fun and informative. I have been to New Orleans many times but this was the first time for my adult daughter. While I had enjoyed the French Quarter often I had never gotten a guided tour and I thought my daughter would enjoy the tour. We both thoroughly enjoyed our guide Ty and her explanations of the history. She was very informative, giving up a lot of backstories to the monuments and buildings.

Great way to get to know the French Quarter if you love the history of places! Our guide, Ty, was very knowledgeable about the area and an excellent story teller. He also gave outstanding recommendations for food and drink options after the tour.

So Entertaining - What a blast! There are so many things that go into being a stellar tour guide: topical knowledge, of course, but reading the group to know WHICH knowledge to share, awareness of surroundings, mobility and speed of the group, storytelling (versus lecturing) is huge, verbal skills, being personable and vulnerable enough to show personality…our guide, Ty, checked EVERY box! So glad I trusted New Orleans Secrets with our precious vacation time! I’m now obsessed with learning more about Micaela Almonester, Baroness de Pontalba!

We did the historic tour of the French Quarter with Dennis. It was an amazing tour. Very informative and a lot of fun. We had a great connection with him right from the start and the tour felt very personal rather than some that can feel like you schlep along while being read a script. He had so many interesting fact about the architecture, the culture and tons of great recommendations. Highly recommend!
That's precisely why we chose to limit our tours to semi-private groups of 9! Legally we can take up to 28 people out, but we prefer smaller groups so we can get to know our guests and even tailor the tours a bit to your interests where we can as well. Dennis is such a witty conversationalist too! People often say that they felt like they spent the morning with an old friend, rather than being lectured to in a crowd of many. Dennis was absolutely wonderful! He had a passion for the history of his city and it showed. We learned so much about the architecture and history of New Orleans, it was even more fun to discover fun facts and tidbits about the homes and what they’ve inspired over the years. Definitely recommend!

A wonderful mix of history and lore that kept my kids and me engaged throughout the tour. Highly recommend
There's no need to resort to hokey theatrics or gimmicks on our Ghost tours as all of our guides are natural storytellers. We do like to keep things as fact based as possible though, while also dispelling any myths. After all, the truth is so much stranger than fiction...especially in New Orleans!
