Flygte fra Firenze for en heldags eventyr til UNESCO-listede Cinque Terre. Rejs med airconditioned bus med en lokal guide, derefter kombinere korte tog hop med en sæsonbådtur for at fange Riviera pastel landsbyer fra land og hav. Grazie mille marvellous Marta for your passion and care in making sure we have the best taster of Cinque Terre! Grazie also to dapper Daniele for making sure we travelled safely and efficiently. TLDR SUMMARY: Favoloso. Great people coordinating a great experience to treasure and get a taster of Cinque Terre. Would recommend every time. BEST FOR: Someone who wants to have a fabulous intro to the best spots and elements of Cinque Terre in a day. PACE: Favoloso. Perfect pace of travel and talk. Marta is so good at giving you all the helpful information to feel immersed and not overwhelmed. Was worried that I’d be so tired from a long day but all I felt was so happy and so fulfilled. GROUP SIZE: Favoloso. Small group of six. Met a bunch of really lovely people from all over the world. TRANSPORT: Favoloso. Our driver, Daniele, was amazing and made sure we had a safe and splendid ride. Small coach van with capacity for around 20 so lots of space for everyone to be comfortable and spread around. Great napping spots and has air conditioning. WALKING: Favoloso. Could walk as much or as little as you’d like. Options to walk more and see lots of viewing points or could be a bit more relaxed and stroll. Marta tells you estimate timings and how hilly/steep routes are. MARTA: Favoloso. Our tour guide Marta was engaging, fun, passionate, articulate, caring, organised, professional, and clearly someone who is favoloso at what they do. Grazie mille for everything. Would listen and follow her and her beautiful limone flag everywhere! OUTFIT OF THE DAY: It was summer, mid-July. Around 37 degrees. Wore a hat and had a light breezy sarong to cover myself from the heat. Comfortable walking shoes and thongs (flip flops) recommended. Pack your swimmers for Monterosso. ELEMENTS: Meet in Firenze. Coach van. Marta gives a great briefing, engaging history, tips and great learnings thoughout. Train from La Spezia to Manarola. Some free time to walk around, take pictures from viewing points, and have a little drink. Train to Vernazza with free time — good chance to eat a seafood lunch, browse shops, take in the views. Ferry boat ride to Monterosso al Mare. Longest free time — had a chance walk and swim! Train back to La Spezia. Coach van back to Firenze. OVERALL, FAVOLOSO (Marta taught me that word!).

Marta was excellent tour leader. Very knowledgeable, kind, patient, accommodating. Her instructions were very clear and always repeated. The bus was clean and comfortable. The driver Daniele was great. I definitely recommend CAF Tours for future trips to anyone, the professional.

If you have only one day to see cinque terre- this is a great way to do it! We had lots of freedom and clear instructions from Marta - she was an excellent guide - both relaxed and knowledgeable. We could explore on our own with the support of the tour. The only feedback would be for the company to tell you that a swim is possible so we could pack for it (though a new swimsuit purchase was fun too!)

The guide Samuel was always attentive to the group, very kind and helpful, and the bus driver Silvino transported us with great safety, I recommend this tour

Martha was awesome! She was organized and did a great job of graciously keeping our. group together. She kept us informed on what was happening next and was always available for questions. I highly recommend her as a guide. Also, knowing multiple languages was useful and her English was great 😊
