Lille Afrika-tur med transport inkluderet

Beskrivelse

Lucas Reves is an excellent tour guide. He is very personable, knowledgeable and friendly. I was so pleased to learn about the important African-Brazilian history of resistance and culture of Little Africa. Lucas went out of his way to make sure we understood that Black history is still being uncovered and created by the community. He made sure we were comfortable and all our questions were answered. Lucas proudly shared his background and piqued our interest to learn more and come back to Rio. Take this tour! Congratulations Lucas and muito obrigado, Leslie F.
I highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in the history of Rio de Janeiro, especially the history of Afro-Brazilian people. It’s both educational and fun. Our guide, Lucas, is Carioca with the knowledge of a cultural anthropologist. He kindly and clearly answered all my questions about Brazil and Rio (both modern day and past) If I had visited the city central on my own without Amazing guide like Lucas, I would never have learned about the fascinating history of this area. I had never joined a street tour before, but this experience completely changed my perception of them. It was incredibly interesting and enjoyable. I learned so many new things on this tour. For example, I found out that samba was once banned by law and that it even started as a form of protest. At the samba school’s backstage area, I was amazed by the magnificent floats and stunning samba dancers. At the same time, I learned that samba schools provide local children and youth the skills that help them in life and work and community beyond family and school. This fun and educational tour is also a great choice for families with kids who love history!
