The tour was a fascinating trip though LGBT+ history in Singapore. The guide was a wonderful and friendly, mixing the history of the community on the island along with the wider history of Singapore, putting things into context which I really appreciated. The two hours flew by and by the end it felt like experiencing a place with a new friend! I highly recommend this tour.
Thanks Isaac for a wonderful, relaxed, and informative tour explaining the history of LGBT issues in Singapore. We went as a couple, and there was one other person that joined the tour separately, so it was a small group. Isaac is very informed about the history of Singapore and told a captivating story. On this tour you'll definitely see many side streets and landmarks which you won't see on other "standard" tours.
Thank you so much for your review and I'm really glad you had a good time on the tour, and in Singapore!
Isaac was our tour guide and he led an interesting and informative walk! There were 5 people in our walk. We got a lot of LGBTQ history of singapore and some general history of singapore as well!
Thank you Edwin for your review, I had a wonderful time hosting everyone!
I learned so much! This was a fascinating, informative tour - I had tons of questions and they were all patiently answered. Took this tour my first day in Singapore and it really helped ground the entire trip. I appreciated the political analysis and history provided. Highly recommend this tour!
The tour itself was interesting - the guide though, made some comments about "the war in Palestine", which felt extremely unreflected and one-sides. As a Jewish person who came to the tour to learn more about a different perspective, it was extremely odd to me that the tour guide, while being extremely thoughtful about 1 issues, was so unreflected about others. Would've loved to come to the tour and hear either no political commentary, or a thoughtful one that fits the spirit of the general tour.
Really interesting, Informative and knowledgable historic tour of inclusivity in Singapore. Isaac is an engaging and guide.
This was a fascinating walking tour that provided a different perspective to Singapore's history. Isaac was a great guide with plenty of stories to tell. Highly recommend!
