Did this activity with my 5 year old daughter and it was perfect for her age. Short, easy to do, and a beautiful result. I wish there was more background knowledge given during the activity.

We really enjoyed our time with our teacher. She shared her passion for the Polynesian culture and dance. She Taught us how to string our bracelet and was a joy to talk with.

The cultural center is inside the mall. It is very small and other than your class it really only offers a few cultural outfits. The class is very short. The class leader is sweet, and talks about the kukui nut and its significance.
Mahalo for visiting our center. Our center is intended to be an accessible, informal opportunity for visitors and residents to have introductory cultural experience. Our classes generally last an hour (or more) and guests are welcome to explore our museum’s 3 galleries featuring 20+ costume exhibits that present the history of Hawaiʻi’s diverse cultures without the institutional dryness.
