Laura Plantation Tour med transport

Beskrivelse

This was a meaningful and enlightening tour. It went deeper than talking about slavery and focused on the interactions of the people who lived there: plantation owners and the people of color. Also interesting because it was a plantation run by women. Very educational.
Thanks for coming guys. We enjoyed having you until next time. Stay safe and keep smiling. 😊😊

Our guide was very knowledgeable and open to answer questions. The tour was very organized and flowed nicely. Our transportation driver with Crescent City Tours was amazing too! He kept us engaged on the drive to plantation and pointed out several landmarks along the way!
Thanks for coming. We enjoyed having until next time. Stay safe and keep smiling. 😊😊
A great outing. The small coach was clean and comfortable. Our driver Larry aka bamba was excellent, informative, funny and very courteous. The guided tour around the plantation was with s small group, again informative and knowledgeable, answering all questions posed to him. The experience wasn't rushed in any way. Would recommend

This was our first plantation of the 2-plantation tour we took. I liked this one better because it wasn't just, "Look at the beautiful home", it was, "This family is like a soap opera"! Yes, it was beautiful & I prefer the Creole style of this plantation to the American style of the Oak Plantation, but, more importantly, remember that this was built by slaves. Lindie was an excellent tour guide who ended the tour with a personal touch about her own family in relation to how the slaves were freed & ended up being stuck with no where else to go because they, sadly, didn't know any better. Her grandmother is Creole & she basically highlighted how slavery still affects non-whites to this very day.
Thank you so much for choosing Crescent city Tours. We enjoyed having you until next time. Stay safe and keep smiling 😊😊
Our tour guide gave a very nuanced, historically accurate description of life on the plantation, from the plantation owners to the enslaved people. Learned more here than I ever did in school
Thank you so much for coming. We really enjoyed having you until next time. Stay safe and keep smiling. ☺️😊
Very informative tour - All guides were great. Except arrived late for our tour at Laura Plantation to meet our guide there. And no information that you could get food and drink at Oak Alley Plantation at the stop for 45 minutes. That was in our opinion essential information, as no food at Laura Plantation. Otherwise thanks to all involved, in giving us this trip.
Thanks for coming we enjoyed having you until next time. Stay safe and keep smiling. 😊😊

We did the Laura Plantation tour with transportation from Crescent City tours. The Laura Plantation tour itself was just ok, but Crescent City Tours doesn't actually do that tour for you, they just take you do the plantation and the plantation has their own tour guides. The transportation from Crescent City tours was ok. They picked us up at our hotel via a medium sized bus. After picking a few other people up at different hotels, it was about an hour drive to the plantation. The driver was nice and 'somewhat' funny; it was nice that he gave us informative information on the city and places we were passing along the way, so the ride wasn't boring. We were dropped off at our plantation and then picked up about 2 hours later. After all the people were back on board, we stopped at the Oak Alley planation for a 20 min break to get food or bathroom etc. Then we stopped other people off at a swamp tour and then back to the hotel. Overall, we were picked up around 8:20am and got dropped back off around 2:30pm.
Thanks for coming guys. We enjoyed having you until next time. Stay safe and keep smiling. I wish five stars could have been the end result but unfortunately, we just have to keep putting forth the effort in swinging for the fences. Thank you so much for coming.😉😉
