Emerald Bay det næstmest fotograferede sted i USA. Dette er et smukt stop. Om vinteren kan det være lukket på grund af laviner. Men det meste af året placerer Around Tahoe Tours dig lige på de perfekte steder ved Emerald Bay. Tag billeder, hør historierne og se bugten. Ingen parkering og gåture, bare nyde Emerald Bay. Vi vil se Inspiration Point, Eagle Falls, Fannett Island og Vikingsholm.
Den Oscar-vindende film "The Godfather Part II" blev optaget på den vestlige kyst af Lake Tahoe. Mafiaen tilbragte en del tid i Lake Tahoe. Kasinoerne i Reno og på North Shore bragte mafiaen til kysten af Lake Tahoe. Hvor der er penge, ville de være der. Plus søen er meget dyb. Spørg Fredo
Dette er sæsonbestemt stop. Åbent fra 15. maj til 15. oktober. Dette er en smuk lille hvid sandstrand. Fantastisk badested ved Lake Tahoe og et skønt lille resort med hytter og huse til leje samt RV camping og teltcamping. Der er en landhandel her og gode badeværelser.
Vi parkerer ved Tahoe City besøgende center og gå over til Fanny Bridge. Under Tahoe City Dam kan vi se nogle utroligt store og smukke Rainbow og Brown Trout. Det er her Truckee floden kommer ud af Lake Tahoe. Dammen er kun 6 meter høj og er ikke der for at holde vand i, men for at hjælpe den med at komme ud.
Dette er et vidunderligt stop ved den berømte Gar Wood's Restaurant and Bar. Tag en våd woody og gå på molen. Fantastiske billeder ser, hvor klart vandet virkelig er. Om sommeren kunne vi se, at Woody er ude på søen. Gar Woods, Chris-Crafts, Rivas og hackere. Smukke gamle træbåde.
Around Tahoe Tours gør et stop ved det smukkeste sted i Lake Tahoe. Sand Harbor State Park Nevada. Hjem af massive store kampesten omgivet af enhver blå farve. Virker tropisk på visse tidspunkter. Omkring Tahoe stopper ved Logan Shoals Vista Trail, da dette er det bedste sted at se Cave Rock. Cave Rock er Lake Tahoes mest berømte hellige sted. Hjem til Paiute- og Washoe-indianernes ånder. Cave Rock er slet ikke en sten, det er en vulkansk stamme, der er tilbage fra længe siden.

WOW, Mark was great. My advice is to take this tour the first day and not wait. He actually made me change my mind about coming back to Tahoe again. The first 3 days were frustrating with closed beaches and other issue. Mark took us to beaches we went to the next day and had a great time. Let us know about an ice cream store. Mark was great. He played the pre-recorded audio but would pause to fill in more insight he had about that part of Tahoe. I learned so much more about Tahoe. He was excellent drive and more importantly where to park. We have fabulous pictures now. He took pains to take pictures for each couple and he framed many of our perfectly. I never felt rushed at the various stops. I had a real chance to enjoy the beauty of Tahoe and understood more of the history. DEFINITLY TAKE THIS TOUR and if possible ask for Mark. I'm sure the other drivers are also excellent but I can only speak about Mark.

Amazing tour with breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe! Our guide, Mark, was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience even more enjoyable. The tour was well organized and suitable for all ages. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The tour was very good! Van who drove our van was very knowledgeable about the area because he grew up here. As seniors the pace was good. Van (also a younger senior 😀) was very helpful by answering our questions. As first time travelers to Lake Tahoe the tour introduced us to a wide variety of information about the lake. All 4 of us old timers recommend this tour.
Good afternoon from Lake Tahoe It was very nice to get your review for Van. He is one of the best tour guides we have now. We got lucky and he just dropped in our lap about 3 months ago. But he also went to school with me at Incline High School. And yes he knows the area very well. He spent some time in the army and has some very good logistical and organizational skills as well and is very personable. In fact, every year is a Santa Claus. For the local community🧑🎄

Having grown up on Lake Tahoe, Van showed us many special spots and vantage points that only a native would know about. My husband was particularly excited to see the boathouse from Godfather II and the Ponderosa from Bonanza. Another highlight was seeing Cal Neva and the dude trip to Sierra Boat Company to see a one-of-a-kind Jaguar boat! We highly recommend this intimate, personalized tour of the lake.

Our tour guide and driver was very courteous and kept us up to date on his arrival time as this did change. He was very informative and gave us lots of history and legends in the area. It was a pleasurable tour.
