Efter at have mødt din guide i lobbyen på dit hotel kl. 6:00, start din rejse til Nakuru. Mens du er på vej, stop ved udsigtspunktet Great Riff Valley, hvor du vil opnå en storslået udsigt over skrænterne.
Ankom til Lake Nakuru kl. 9:00, og fuldfør den 3-timers køretur. Ved din ankomst, start den 3-timers game drive med din guide og del. Pause til frokost på en lokal restaurant, Lake Nakuru Lodge. Alternativt kan du have en forudaftalt picnic frokost i parken. Spis frokost, og fortsæt derefter med at nyde yderligere game drives på vej ud.

We had an amazing time on our day trip to Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha. It was just unfortunate that the Flamingos migrate during this time and so we only saw a few. Lunch at the lodge inside the park I think was way overpriced but the views were great. But the highlight of the trip was at Lake Naivasha were you pay extra and they take you on a canoe ride to a walking safari. You can walk with Rothschild giraffes, and get close to other animals like Zebra, wildebeest, etc. No predators though. Our guide Chris was wonderful and will definitely recommend him. And thank you Damaris (from Zazu Safari Ventures) for booking this trip last minute. A wonderful prelude to our 8 day Kenya-Tanzania safari.

Our tour guide and driver was excellent. He is well experienced and could provide background information about everything we asked him about. The tour as such was amazing as we could easily find almost all animals which roam in the Lake Nakuru area, even the rare rhinos. We had lunch at a local place which offered nice food for affordable prices and continued to Lake Naivasha where we did a guided boat tour. We returned the same day punctually to Nairobi and were dropped at our accommodation. I can advice everyone to do this tour who hasn't time for an overnight safari to one of the major parks Especially the scenery around the two lakes is stunning.
