Lake Country Wine Tour

This is my 6th tour over the years with Marsha and Okanogan wine tours. I always leave the itinerary in their hands and they never disappoint. This tour was a full day with lunch at poplar grove bistro. The choice of wineries was superb and lunch was fabulous. Out tour guide, Cal was amazing. He was a wealth of local knowledge , funny and engaging. Another top notch tour. Keep up the good work Marsha and team

Fabulous experience visiting 4 wineries in the beautiful Okanagan valley. Our guide Cal Anderson was friendly, knowledgeable and really great company. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon, we really enjoyed it and would certainly recommend both the company and Cal.. Sue and Tom

Disappointed that didn’t deliver a knowledgeable wine tasting experience. For the record our driver Larry was helpful, friendly and transported us to our accommodation directly and on time. He imparted some helpful background info on the wider area as we drove around. Thanks to him. We took a four and a half afternoon tour of 4 west Kelowna wineries. I think Saturday made them particularly busy. Comfortable transport with 2 other couples. Usually wine tasting tours deliver a chance to taste and discuss the wines, the vineyards and their history in depth with knowledgeable vineyard staff; in a relaxed, environment. Sadly , non of the four sites we visited provided this. Essentially, all four were busy, packed venues with multiple tours and individual parties crowded in. The servers were all pleasant but that was it - they delivered a well rehearsed short script as they poured the wine then rapidly moved on to the next table. A couple of them had less knowledge about wine making than we did! Was it fun? Yes if you want a glorified pub ( wine) crawl with nice views, friendly company and plenty of folk in party vibe crowding the venues then it was fine. If you’re after an educational, informative experience about Canadian wine making then these chosen venues failed to deliver. Needs a revamp. Sadly, a missed and underwhelming tour.

Did this with Cal on 30th May. Great tour of 5 different vineyards with a stop for lunch. Lots of local information from Cal and some beautiful settings throughout. Enjoyed many of the wines we sampled and made a few purchases to take with to enjoy on the remainder of our Canadian tour. Brilliant weather really helped to enhance the experience.

Marsha organized such a smooth seemless day for our girls group. She was flexible with our pick up timing and we had the absolute best driver named Cal. I honestly loved every single stop we went to. Each one had something special - beautiful scenery, attentive hosts, hidden gems, delicious food. We had the best day and are so thankful Cal for being so patient with us and all the little bonuses he provided. Thank you for making our day perfect!

Hats off to Larry! An excellent guide and communicator who went the extra mile to ensure we had a superb day. He reminded us to make sure we collected all our belongings when we arrived back to our accommodation. On the return journey, at our request, he stopped at the Save on Foods hyperstore so that we could get supplies for our onward journey. When we arrived back at our accommodation we had our hands full of shopping bags and totally forgot about our rucksacks which were behind our seats. It was only hours later that we realised we had left them in the vehicle. Larry sprang to our rescue and came out of his way that evening to return them to us. Top fella, Larry, thanks a million. Jim Fraser, our guide was THE BEST!! Our group loved the experience from start to finish. From the luxurious Mercedes Sprinter to Jim’s knowledgeable info shared. A true CLASS ACT!

Lovely guides/drivers. Brian and Brian. Very knowledgeable, and kind. The host wineries were also excellent. Some very fine wines were tasted. Lovely views.

Marsha was easy and quite helpful for planning. Larry was a joy as he drove us around. LOVE that they allowed our dog to join us! Note we went to the Naramata area, not Lake Country but I couldn't change location with the review ;)

We heard that a wine tour in Kelowna was the thing to do and it certainly did not disappoint! Brian was such a wonderful and kind host, very knowledgable on the local wineries and we learnt so much. We got to visit fours very different vineyards where we sampled a variety of different wines - we especially loved the Crown and Thieves, very cool decor and architecture. There’s even a speakeasy which you can visit on weekends with live music. A very memorable visit during our time in Kelowna - thank you so much Brian! 😊
