This tour was amazing and the places we visited the beast and so beautiful!!! Our guide was awesome because when we left some stuff in his car he was so kind to cane back and returned to us.
Dean was our “super tour guide”! We enjoyed spending the day with him getting educated about Slovenia, Lake Bled, and Radovljica. Dean was personable, knowledgeable and fun to be around. Lake Bled was beautiful and Radovljica was very charming! Dean really made the tour a memorable trip and we would highly recommend him!
Our tour guide Ernie was excellent!! He was very knowledgeable and got us to all the stops fast. I only give it a 4 star review because it is a very long day of driving and you don’t get to actually see that much. For us visiting on a cruise ship and wanting to see Slovenia it was an option to do it without renting a car ourselves but we only had an hour at lake bled so we weren’t able to go up to the castle or take a boat to the island or a carriage ride around the lake.

On this particular day, we actually upgraded the tour especially for your group to include Ljubljana that you could experience even more of Slovenia during your visit. Unfortunately, traffic was particularly heavy that day, and we had to carefully manage the timing so that we could still get you back to your cruise ship on time. We would never want our guests to feel stressed about missing their ship, so sometimes we have to balance the time at each destination accordingly. Dean was an enthusiastic tour guide. The scenery of Lake Bled is memorable, and it is an iconic Slovenian site. Try the cake!
Our driver, Dean arrived on time and greeted us friendly and professionally. He welcomed the group and explained to us exactly what our day would look like. Along the route to Lake Bled Dean gave us an interesting history of Slovenia. Many of us asked questions and Dean was more than willing to answer and go into detail if we desired. The time spent in Bled was just enough to walk around the lake and climb up to the castle. Our next stop was the medieval Slovenian town of Radovljica. Very charming town. Dean recommended a good restaurant for lunch and ice cream. Also good honey and chocolate stores. Highly recommend this tour and Dean js the best!!!
Dean is a great guide/driver, passionate about his country, Slovenia. He gave us in-depth information about the history & people of Slovenia. He’s generous with his time, picked us up from Trieste & drove along the Slovenian coastline & on to beautiful Lake Bled. We felt safe driving with him & his enthusiasm for the sights of Slovenia & Croatia inspired us to re-visit the region. Thank you Dean!
It absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! The Private tour was very well organized, informative, and enjoyable. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel welcome throughout the trip. Every stop was thoughtfully planned, and we had plenty of time to explore and take photos. Transportation was comfortable, communication was clear, and the overall experience exceeded expectations. I highly recommend.
We had a wonderful day with our tour operator Dean and his company GoToExplore. He was attentive and knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome. He made an extra effort to educate us about Slovenia and let us know about the hidden gems in and around Lake Bled and Radovljica Old Town.
