Du vil blive mødt med glæde af vores besætning på Marina de Lagos, hvor eventyret begynder, selv før du træder om bord. Sammen med dig vil vi gennemgå ruten og skræddersy oplevelsen til dine ønsker, dele klare instruktioner og insider tips til at få mest muligt ud af hvert øjeblik på vandet.
Vores eventyr begynder i Ponta da Piedade, en betagende perle langs Algarves kystlinje. Dette naturlige vidunder kan prale af store gyldne klipper, skulptureret af tid og tidevande til fascinerende buer, huler og skjulte grotter. Disse dramatiske klippeformationer stiger op til 20 meter over det krystalklare Atlanterhav og skaber en postkortperfekt scene, der rangerer blandt Portugals mest ikoniske seværdigheder. Her stopper vi for at fordybe os i den panoramiske skønhed og fanger fantastiske billeder inde i de mystiske havhuler. Og for dem, der længes efter et strejf af eventyr, de indbydende turkis vand tilbyder det perfekte sted for en forfriskende svømning i naturens mesterværk.
Vores rejse til den legendariske Benagil Cave fortsætter med en betagende kystudsigt, der starter fra den fantastiske Praia do Torrado. Mens vi sejler langs kysten, afslører hver tur dramatiske klipper, skjulte strande og det uendelige blå af Atlanterhavet, der strækker sig til horisonten. Undervejs er der så meget mere at opdage, hvilket gør dette til et uforglemmeligt eventyr!
Gør dig klar til at sejle forbi nogle af de mest ikoniske perler langs Algarves kyst! Mens vi glider gennem dette fantastiske havlandskab, kommer et betagende sted efter et andet i synet. Blandt dem er den maleriske Praia do Carvoeiro, en postkort-perfekt strand beliggende mellem gyldne klipper og charmerende hvidvaskede huse. Med sine turkisfarvede farvande og dramatiske klippeformationer er dette kystparadis et syn. Men det er kun begyndelsen – hver del af rejsen rummer et nyt vidunder, der venter på at blive opdaget!
Fra havet åbner vi et helt nyt perspektiv på Algarves mest betagende vidundere. Drift langs kysten, får vi et nærmere kig på skjulte perler som den fortryllende Boneca's Cave - hvor naturen har skulptureret fantastiske klippeformationer, der ligner vinduer til den endeløse blå. Udsigten fra vandet er magisk og afslører hemmelige hjørner af kysten, som få får lov at se. Og den bedste del? Vi oplever det hele i total ro, glider ubesværet gennem dette paradis om bord på vores skib. Hvert øjeblik er et postkort i fremstillingen!
Indtil nu har vi allerede udforsket nogle af de mest utrolige huler på vej til den legendariske Benagil. Men en af de sande højdepunkter er den fantastiske udsigt over Alfanzina Lighthouse fra havet. Stående stolt på toppen af klipperne, denne ikoniske fyr er endnu mere imponerende fra vandet. Og den virkelige magi? Under den ligger en massiv skjult hule - en, vi ikke bare beundrer på afstand, men faktisk venture ind! Kontrasten mellem lys og skygge, bølgernes ekko og dette naturlige vidunder gør det til et uforglemmeligt øjeblik på vores rejse.
Endelig når vi Algarves kronjuvel – Algar de Benagil, en af de mest betagende og eftertragtede destinationer i Portugal! Denne fantastiske havhule, med sine ophøjede gyldne vægge og ikoniske solbelyste kuppel, føles som en skjult katedral udskåret af naturen selv. Forventningen opbygges, når vi nærmer os, og når vi er inde, udfolder magien sig. Gør dig klar til at tage nogle af de mest episke billeder af turen, indrammet af hulens naturlige skylight og det krystalklare vand. Dette er det øjeblik, vi har ventet på – et uforglemmeligt højdepunkt i vores eventyr!
Vores store finale bringer os til Praia da Marinha, en sand perle af den portugisiske kystlinje og en af de mest betagende strande i verden! Indrammet af ophøjede gyldne klipper og kysset af krystalklart vand, er dette paradis det perfekte sted at slappe af. Vi tager et forfriskende svømmetur i det tyrkiserede hav, der indtager skønheden i vores omgivelser. Derefter vil vi slappe af om bord med nogle lækre snacks, nyde de sidste øjeblikke af denne uforglemmelige rejse, før vi gør vores vej tilbage til Lagos. Det er den perfekte afslutning på et episk eventyr!
(Optionel ekstra stop) Denne valgfrie ekstra aktivitet omfatter et stop ved Alvor Estuary, en unik naturlig indstilling i Algarve. Gæsterne vil nyde flodstrande om bord, omgivet af rolige og naturskønne farvande. Under stoppet er der tid til at gå på tværs af små øde øer, slappe af i en fredelig miljø og svømme i roligt, grunt vand. Efter denne forfriskende pause slutter turen med en behagelig tur tilbage til Lagos Marina.
Når vi vender tilbage til Marina de Lagos efter en uforglemmelig rejse og opdager Algarves fantastiske havhuler, er atmosfæren fyldt med afslappede smil og varige minder. I don’t say this lightly: this was the single most memorable thing I’ve ever experienced. Truly. We booked not knowing quite what to expect, and from start to finish it was exhilarating — the kind of day that has everyone grinning and a little breathless. What made it extraordinary was how it landed with the kids. They were thrilled the entire time, completely caught up in it, and watching them light up like that is something I’ll carry with me for a long time. Mad Max is the reason it worked. He brought this infectious energy that pulled the whole family in, kept everyone safe and comfortable, and somehow made it feel thrilling and effortless at the same time. We booked a private tour with Algarve On Board on a bit of a whim, and it ended up being the highlight of our whole trip. Max made it that way. From the moment we stepped on board he had the balance exactly right — relaxed and easy to be around, but clearly someone who knows these waters cold. He took us along the cliffs and into the caves and grottoes, and every time we rounded a corner there was something that made us gasp. He knew precisely where to slow down, where to let us just sit and take it in, and where the light hit best for photos (he offered to take them without us even asking). What stood out most was how genuinely warm he was. He read the group perfectly — gave the kids a thrill, answered our endless questions about the coastline, and never once made it feel rushed or scripted. By the end it felt less like a tour and more like a day out with someone who really loves where he lives and wanted us to love it too. If you’re deciding whether to do this: do it, and hope you get Max. We’ll be back.

We had a fantastic excursion thanks to Max. His knowledge of the area and attention to detail with us was excellent. We felt well taken care of and special. We had the most incredible day yesterday with Max touring the Algarve area. The views were spectacular, however, our host Max was the real star! He prepared a perfect picnic lunch on board, had great music playing and took tons of pics for us. The day was the true highlight of our time in Algarve. I would highly recommend using his company!!!
