Awesome tour! Sebastian from Sweet Costa Rica is THE best you can get. For a pretty picky local who usually prefers self-explore rather than guided tours, this came as a surprise. Our guide surely knew what he was talking about and taught us a lot while making it fun. Absolutely loved it, definitely recommend!

The waterfalls were incredible and the hike to get to them was exhilarating and beautiful. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Sebastian was our driver for the day and was very knowledgeable and friendly. He shared very good info of the area. Our tour guide was Alihandro and he was super fun, friendly, safe and took great pictures for everyone. Him being a cliff jumper, made us feel very safe and he shared many great stories and videos.

This was an awesome tour! Sebastian is an excellent guide. The tubing in the blue water was a lot of fun. The lunch was excellent. We enjoyed seeing and tubing to waterfalls.
We booked a tour with this company and received a confirmation for our reservation. On the day of the tour, we arrived early at the designated meeting point in Tamarindo, but the transportation never showed up. We waited for nearly an hour on the curb with no sign of the driver or any communication from the company. Despite their claim of offering 24/7 customer service, no one responded to our phone calls, text messages, TripAdvisor chat, or WhatsApp messages. We were left completely stranded with no explanation or support. With only four days in Costa Rica, this was the only excursion we had planned and it ended up being a major disappointment. The lack of professionalism and communication put a serious damper on our trip.
Absolutely breathtaking 💙 A little difficult of a hike, the current to get the waterfall is strong, I almost gave up. Our tour guide Alan was AMAZING and helped me get through it (he had to pull me up the rock) . The struggle was worth every view. The water was refreshing . I did not want to leave
10/10 recommend! We are a group a three mid-20’s girls and thought this was a blast. Make sure to tell them to take you the challenging route if you like an adventure! Freddie was great:)
Paul was our driver and main guide for La Leona waterfall hike and tour on 6/10/2025. We had four adults, five teenagers. This was our favorite excursion in Costa Rica! Paul picked us up in Tamarindo in a very comfortable, air-conditioned touring van. The 2 hour drive to La Leona went by quickly with Paul sharing so much knowledge about the region. He is a natural tour guide, super friendly and funny! The hike itself was nothing short of amazing. Not very strenuous but requires some degree of fitness and athleticism. We felt safe the whole way, especially because our lead guide in the jungle was Allen, “Pollo Loco“. He knows every inch of that trail and every rock and boulder in the river. The water was crystal blue and refreshing. Lots of smiles and thrills the whole way. Wear tennis shoes, bathing suits, T-shirts and bug spray. You will be soaked but it is so refreshing. After hiking, the casado lunch was delicious. This is the perfect trip for an adventurous family!
So fun!!! Our guide, Noel, and driver, Sebastian were outstanding!!!! The hike was fantastic. This is a must for a trip to tamarindo!
Really fun, adventurous, and unique. More climbing and swimming than I expected (was pleasantly surprised). Our guides Markos and Alan were wonderful.
