Beautiful Niko castle was an excellent tour. Ours was led by Kris who has a deep knowledge of the history and culture of Japan. Bonus points for the air conditioned cafe onsite as ours was during very hot summer days. Highly recommend the tour and bonus if you get Kris!
Wry informative but much too long. Lots of walking and lots of heat in summer. 100 characters is too high minimum. 100 characters makes this too annoying to comlte

Our guide, Masa, was exceptional and generous with his time and knowledge. Masa paced the tour well stopping frequently, while also ensuring we stayed in shade and the cool. He was extremely informative and helpful, answering all our questions. Would definitely recommend when visiting the castle.

My tour of Nijo Castle was excellent! Kristian was an amazing guide—very knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Japanese history. He explained everything in a clear and engaging way, making the stories behind the castle come to life. He was also happy to answer questions and made sure everyone felt included throughout the tour. Thanks to him, visiting Nijo Castle was much more meaningful and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour, especially if you have Kristian as your guide!
