11 hours before tour, tour operator recommended changing tour to the next day due to typhoon, we could not, we were already committed, after checking with the news it was a serious situation so we canceled. tour operator insisted we cancel through Viator but after checking, only multiple choice selection and none can reflect our situation and all selection require to forfeit your payment. even after cancelling 4X the tour operator insisted on coming to the hotel to pick us up, all documented on email. tour operator notified of typhoon about 11 hours before tour which requires 24 hours notice for refund, they knew of the weather situation long before 24 hours.
Highly recommend. Ryu was a wonderful guide and we thoroughly enjoyed our day.
Thank you Ryu, for a wonderful informative day in Kyoto. We are 81 & 74 years old Vegan , vegetarian and Ryu for such a young person was most sensitive to our needs and capability in 30 plus temperatures. Tour was excellent. Guide was fluent in English and explained all the sites and history behind the sites. I would give Ryu a 5 star rating and would highly recommend him for the Kyoto tour.

Our guide, Ryu, was terrific. He was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient with our time. He took great pictures at each of our destinations, and his English was perfect. His car was also extremely clean!

Our guide, Ryu, was so knowledgeable, nice, and efficient! The van was extremely clean and comfortable. 100% recommend this tour. From the moment I contacted them, they were extremely professional and helpful. Ryu was my wonderful driver and guide. A fantastic, calm and skillful driver, I got to sit back, relax and enjoy the beauty of our surroundings. Ryu shared his vast knowledge of the iconic Kyoto sights like the Golden temple as well as tailoring the itinerary to suit my pace and interests. He was very thoughtful, nothing was too much trouble, even finding the perfect restaurant for me (I have a very restricted diet). Where I ate the most amazing avacado and salmon sushi of my life! A brilliant tour, I'm very grateful to Ryu and the team for making this day truly memorable. Highly recommend!

Ryu did a great job!! He was super nice, knowledgeable and accommodating to our requests! His car is clean and new, very comfortable during the hot Japan summer!
