Dette er ikke en checkliste sightseeing ride. Det er en lokal Kyoto e-bike oplevelse gennem Higashiyama templer og skjulte gader, guidet af nogen, der rider disse gader hver dag. Vi starter med cykelmontering og en klar sikkerheds briefing, derefter ride fra det kejserlige palads område langs Kamo floden og ind i Higashiyama. På Nashinoki Shrine samler du frisk kildevand som lokalbefolkningen gør - din genanvendelige flaske er en gave og bliver dit drikkevand til turen. På Shimogamo Shrine, vi gør den berømte vand omikuji (inkluderet): dyppe papiret i vand og meddelelsen vises, en klog tradition og en sjov prøve af held. Vi besøger derefter det rolige Honenin-område, fortsætter til den ikoniske Nanzenji og slutter ved Heian Shrine. Vi undgår travle hovedveje, når det er muligt, og justerer ruten for at matche folkemængder og forhold, hvilket holder turen glat, sikker og mindeværdig. Vi stopper ved Nashinoki Shrine, et sted, lokale besøger for frisk kildevand. Du vil modtage en flaske, fylde den i helligdommen, og bruge den som dit drikkevand gennem hele turen.
Vi kører langs Kamo River, et sted, hvor lokalbefolkningen slapper af og tilbringer tid i hverdagen i Kyoto. Føl den åbne luft og flodvind, da vi undgår travle hovedveje og vælger roligere stier og baggader.
Vi stopper ved Shimogamo Shrine, en gammel helligdom beliggende i et skovområde nord for det centrale Kyoto, kendt for sin rolige atmosfære og dybe historiske tilstedeværelse. Her prøver vi den berømte vand fortjeneste - dyppe papiret i vandet og meddelelsen vises - en genial tradition, der føles som en sjov test af held.
Vi besøger Honenin Temple, et roligt sted i Higashiyama, der føles langt fra de travle sightseeing ruter. Vi nærmer os gennem lokale gader og skjulte smug, og tager sig tid til at nyde stilheden og den enkle skønhed af templet.
Vi stopper ved Nanzenji Temple, en af Kyotos mest berømte tempelområder, kendt for sin store port og rummelige grund. Vi tager os tid til at nyde stemningen og tage billeder, så fortsætter turen, mens vi justerer din rute til at matche dagens folkemængde niveauer.
Vi slutter ved Heian Shrine, et slående landemærke med en bred tilgang og en imponerende vermilion gate. Det er et godt sted for fotos og et klart "Kyoto øjeblik" for at lukke turen, før du går tilbage.

Fantastic tour! Kie was a fantastic tour guide. I highly recommend this bike tour. We visited many temples and shrines that would be hard to reach without bicycles.

We had a fantastic morning thanks to Kei! We started with a briefing on the bikes and soon set off on our adventure. Although the e-bikes are quite fast, Kei guided us safely through Kyoto’s streets and intersections. This part of the tour didn't last long, as we quickly found ourselves cycling through a quiet, green area of Kyoto—it was wonderful to escape the bustle of the city for a while. The itinerary included a stop by the river, as well as visits to two shrines and two temples. Every place we visited was truly unique and beautiful and we also participated and learned a lot about rituals. We discovered wonderful spots that we never would have found on our own. Kei is a kind, respectful, and engaging guide who speaks excellent English. Communication with Kei before, during, and after the tour was also fantastic! Kei-san, arigato gozaimashita!
