Hoteller i nærheden af Kyambura Gorge Chimpanzee Tracking Experience Kyambura Gorge er en af de mest naturskønne og unikke chimpanse tracking destinationer i Uganda. Ofte omtalt som "Appe Valley", denne frodige, skovklædte kløft skærer dramatisk gennem savannen i Queen Elizabeth National Park, hvilket skaber en slående kontrast i landskaber. Chimpanze tracking her er mere eksklusiv i forhold til andre steder, med en lille gruppe størrelse på omkring 6 besøgende pr trek, der tilbyder en mere intim og mindre overfyldt oplevelse. Foruden chimpanser er slugten rig på dyreliv. Besøgende kan støde på hippos langs Kyambura floden, såvel som elefanter, ugandiske kobs, babyer, sort-hvide colobusapper, rødhalsapper og en række fuglearter. Sporingsoplevelsen kan tage op til 3 timer, afhængigt af placeringen af chimpanserne. En erfaren ranger guide vil lede dig gennem skoven på jagt efter schimpanser.

We went with lulu Safari David our guide and driver was very responsive with our demands. It was a vey unique experience. You see the gorillas in their natural habitat. You should be fit enough to be able to do the hiking.it is very advisable to take porter for each tracker. Difficult hike.but worth it. The locals are very lovable people🌴
We know Henry from 12 years ago, when he was at that time driver / guide with another tour agency. No wonder that Henry made it to director of his own company, Wild Expeditions Uganda ! Not only did he give us an unfortgettable and very complete trip of 3 weeks through Uganda, but he learned us a lot !! He learned us how to spot animals during safaris, he learned us how to look to trees and plants and small rivers to watch for birds !! For this time, we contacted Wild Expeditions Uganda for a special request and totally made-to-order tour, because we were travelling independently in Rwanda during 3 weeks and wanted to go again to Uganda for 3 days for the gorilla trekking. Before the tour, all communication is very clear, fast and efficient. So, Henry made us a fully personalized program with pick up at the border of Cyanika, arranged a beautiful and very nice lodge to stay (Mucha River Lodge), arranged for the gorilla permits in Mgahinga National Park, where the gorillas are huge (even huger than in Bwindi...), and all transport. It was so nice to catch up again with this very knowledgeable man, who is not only a professional topper, but also as a person, he is top !!! As a matter of fact, he is pushing now into the niche market of travel for disabled people. He adapted his Toyota Landcruiser to fit people with special needs and wheelchair ; knows the lodges with adapted infrastructure etc. Henry is a very attentive and caring person, intelligent and world wise. Don't doubt anymore : with Wild Expeditions Uganda, your trip is in safe and reliable hands, and all in house to make your trip unfortgettable and worryless !!!
