Keep in mind you’re paying for dinner at one restaurant. After that you have to pay for eating at the other two places. Not very expensive but paying close to $200 for one restaurant is a bit much. Plus the guide was a bit awkward and since we were the only clients on the tour there was a lot of awkward silences throughout the tour.

As a result, guests should expect a personalized experience tailored to their own interests and pace. Regarding the food, the tour description clearly explains that the first restaurant is included, while food and drinks at subsequent stops are paid separately by guests. We have chosen this format intentionally, as every traveler has different appetites, dietary preferences, and budgets. This allows guests the flexibility to decide how much they would like to eat and drink throughout the evening rather than following a fixed menu. We understand that this style of tour may not be the right fit for everyone, but we aim to provide a flexible and customizable experience that accommodates a wide range of travelers. Fuma was such a great companion to tell us about lifestyle and common foods in fun places Ginzo, Japan. The restaurant choices however were not that exciting. They also only cover the first restaurant out of the three.

These stops are selected to fit the tour route and timing, while also introducing different local food experiences. This was brilliant. Yuki was great and communicated brilliantly beforehand where to meet up. He was brilliant throughout and his English was excellent. He was very friendly and personable. We visited 3 food places and he taught us about the food and meaning behind it all which was great to hear. Very enjoyable

Atsu our guide was terrific! Charming, knowledgeable and very attentive to our wishes. He guided us to three delicious restaurants filled with locals that we would have never found on our own. We would give him 6 stars out of 5 if we could!
