Denne tur er for historieelskere, men også for naturelskere, fordi vi besøger middelalderborgen på fødderne af bjerget med en spektakulær udsigt. i Durres besøger vi det gamle amfiteater og murene ved Adriaterhavets kyster og har en meget dejlig afslappende tid ved havet

Efter morgenmaden køres til Kruja, centrum for albansk modstand mod osmannerne under vores National Hero Scanderbeg. Han holdt de osmanniske hære fra at krydse ind i Vesteuropa i 25 år og opnåede dermed titlen "Athleta Christi" tildelt af datidens pave. Vi besøger Skanderbeg Museum, et af landets bedste og et rigt etnografisk museum, hvor næsten alle genstande er originale fra slutningen af det 19. århundrede.
Til sidst går vi gennem Krujas berømte basar fuld af traditionelt kunsthåndværk. dette er en unik mulighed for dig til at se håndværkerne lave produkterne inde i deres værksted.
Preza-slottet er en af Skanderbejs middelalderlige højborge. i dag er et af de smukkeste udsigtspunkter i det centrale Albanien. Vi kan nyde en valgfri traditionel frokost, hvor vi vil prøve nogle lækre byrek, landsbysalater, Imam bajalldi, lam og andre regioners opskrifter.
Vi vil besøge nogle af resterne såsom amfiteatret fra det 2. århundrede e.Kr. med omkring 15.000 pladser, det romerske forum, det arkæologiske museum med en storslået samling af marmor- og keramikfreder fra de helt gamle tider til senere, det venetianske tårn det ydre murene i det gamle Durres. Vi har en forfriskning i en panoramisk bar, inden vi vender tilbage til Tirana
Efter besøgene fortsætter du til Durres, en af de ældste byer i Albanien og den første og måske den vigtigste af de græske kolonier i landet. Det blev grundlagt ved Epidamnus i 627 f.Kr. af grækere fra Corcyra (nutidens Korfu) og Korinth. Græske og romerske forfattere kaldte den "den beundringsværdige by" for dens tempel, statuer og andre monumenter. Men kun få rester minder os om denne bys storhedsdage, hovedsageligt på grund af jordskælv og også det faktum, at Durres konstant har været beboet gennem tiden. Derfor er det blevet omdannet i overensstemmelse hermed.

Excellent tour! Durres and Kruja are two essential stops in Albania and this excursion allows you to visit them comfortably in the day. The Berti guide was impeccable, kind and prepared, the transport comfortable and with a good balance between guided tours and free time to explore independently. An experience that I highly recommend to anyone who wants to discover the authentic heart of this beautiful country!

had nice time with. my daughter guide was informative leading to the castle great view my only complaint being it would of been nice to have a bit longer as didn't feel had enough time to look round museums and do shopping but this is just a minor point really enjoyed otherwise thankyou for the day

We did the Kruje and Durres day tour with Endri and we had a great time! It felt as if we were on a day out among friends. Endri shared some information about the history and culture of Albania, drove us around all day. He had fantastic knowledge of Albania’s history but also shared some insight about Albanian culture and people. We had a lovely lunch too, The views were absolutely breathtaking! We would definitely recommend a tour with Endri! Thank you also for playing Albanian music for us on the way back at our request :)!
Andret our guide was very nice and showed us the sights while entertaining us with facts about the areas we were in. Really good lunch and ending with an afternoon on the seaside as well as an amphitheatre. Recommended!

We had 2 excellent trips with Endri (?) of Aria. We firstly enjoyed a combined day trip, visiting Kruja and Durres. From start to finish, we were impressed by the competence of our guide, his knowledge, and willingness to ensure we had a memorable day. We also had a wonderful lunch in Kruja. We were so impressed that we booked another trip for the following day, to Berat. Again, we felt it was an excellent tour. Berat was fascinating. Endri provided plenty of information about our visit, as he did about Albania. The scenery was lovely, and the pace was unhurried. Once again, we had a lovely lunch, this time in a winery. We would certainly recommend the company to anyone visiting Albania. Also, our guide added much to the 2 day's excursions.
The best experience with a guide we have ever had. It really is like an Albanian friend showing you his country and neighbouring countries. Our guide Jetmir (Miri) in addition to a great guide, professional and customer-oriented 200%, is a magnificent company. We did 3 tours with him (3 days) and we really felt sorry to say goodbye to him. We have had a great time and it was largely thanks to Miri. Not to mention helped us with a problem we had when we arrived and stayed with us until it was solved. Thank you very much from the heart and we hope to come back soon and meet new places in this wonderful country!
