We learned so much about Lecce stone. We were carefully guided by our masterful instructor on how to use the sculpting tools and use techniques to successfully work with the stone. What a fun and rewarding experience and we were able to leave with our own handcrafted souvenirs. We booked the shorter experience but would love to go back to creative an a more elaborate piece. An authentic Lecce opportunity- don’t miss out.
It was a nice course with very friendly support from the stonemason. It was only a small group and we had enough time in this hour to finish everything.
Very cool experience! My husband and I (and even our 4year old daughter who did a small side project) are super proud of our Lecce stone bowl creations. Carefully and patiently directed by our teaching master, we were shown how to use the tools, the steps to take from block to bowl, while being given loads of room for creative freedom. The setting was lovely, the pace relaxing, and the output something truly special. Thank you very much 😊
This was a wonderful experience and very educational. The Craftsman was very patient and told us much detail of his craft. The interpreters were very good.
