Today we had the same great guide Kristian that we had yesterday. We had a four person private tour and loved our experience of this itinerary in Montenegro. Highly recommend this tour and tour company.
Our driver, Elmir, picked us up on time at our requested spot. He was a fantastic guide, well versed in English and provided us with an overall great experience driving from Dubrovnik to Montenegro. He took us through a smaller border crossing into Montenegro (you will need passports) which minimized traffic and shortly after we stopped for breakfast at a restaurant called Holiday, which had great food and even better views. We stopped off at all of the various spots as planned with flexibility to stay longer or shorter at our preference. Elmir was very friendly, courteous and professional and we absolutely enjoyed the day. Overall, from pick up to return, the tour lasts about 11 hours. Again, you had flexibility to adjust and stay less time if you wanted at any location. We opted to maximize out time. We followed Elmir’s guidance and stayed longer in Budva, which was definitely worth it. Thanks Elmir for a wonderful day and experience. Wish you all the best.
Our driver was excellent and patient. Ika went above and beyond. Our guide in Montenegro was good. I was sad that we did not get to see our lady of the rock due to rain
We had an unforgettable day exploring Montenegro with Drazon! From the moment he picked us up, his friendly, welcoming personality made us feel completely at ease. It was clear right away that he genuinely loved sharing his country with visitors, and his passion made the experience even more special. The itinerary was perfect—Kotor, Perast, and Budva—all stunning, but what made the tour stand out was Drazon himself. He didn’t just drive us from place to place; he shared fascinating stories, history, and local insights that gave us a deeper appreciation of Montenegro. It felt more like travelling with a knowledgeable friend than just taking a tour. He also went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time, giving us plenty of time to explore while keeping everything smooth and stress-free. His recommendations were all spot on. If you’re looking for an unforgettable private tour in Montenegro, you won’t find a better guide than Drazon. He made our trip memorable, and we couldn’t recommend him more highly!
A truly fantastic day trip! Ivo was the perfect guide for us - easy going, knowledgeable, gave us the perfect amount of history, context, and guidance. The van for our 7-person group was clean and air-conditioned. The food was excellent, as well. We loved this tour and highly recommend it!
We were a group of 8 women and had a fantastic day on this tour of Montenegro. Our Guide was Ivo who provided information about the sites we visited and explained the history of the region and the current situation. We fit a lot into a long day and appreciated the stops, including oysters, swimming, the market and a great local restaurant. He is most willing to customize the trip for you and was a lot of fun. We'd highly recommend booking this trip. So much to see, the sites made the time in the car well worth the trip.
Had the best tour yesterday with Horizon Tours. Drazon went above and beyond for me. As a solo traveler I was not sure what this would be like but it was perfect. He was flexible at every step and made me feel safe and listened to. This experience made my trip to Croatia. Highly recommend.
Excellent walking tour with Tea and panoramic diving tour with Dado. Both were enthusiastic and passionate about the rich history of Croatia the city of Dubrovnik and the surrounding areas. Our group thoroughly enjoyed Dado and Tea as guides and would highly recommend both!
Iwo was an outstanding guide for our family (including two teenage daughters) during our full day trip to Montenegro! He was so knowledgeable about each of the sites we visited, and kept all of us engaged with his many stories and good sense of humor. He gave us a much deeper appreciation for the fascinating history of the region, from the ancient Romans through the formation and dissolution of Yugoslavia. He did all of the little things well, also...he was punctual, he communicated the specifics of our journey during the day, he judged when we needed a break, and moved at our pace. Even my daughters raved about the experience after we returned to our hotel! We couldn't recommend him more highly!
My wife and I were picked up by Ivo bright and early from Dubrovnik for a day trip down to Montenegro. After six weeks of travelling around Europe, this was our last day before flying out. What a day it turned out to be. The best tour of our whole trip by far. Ivo’s knowledge of the areas we visited was super impressive and we were left with so many stories about it all that just blew us away. From the beautiful little town of Peras and the Lady of the Rock island with its chapel steeped in the most amazing history and tradition, to Kotor and all the secrets wrapped within its walls. We had our best meal of our trip at a family owned restaurant that Ivo knew well and then went on to Budvar and it’s wonderful history with the small island of Sveti Stefan adding even more flavour. I could not fault this day and the sheer amount of experience we fitted into the one day without being worn out. Simply the best a I do wish we had more days to spend with Ivo to visit more places in and around the region
Toni, thank you for taking time to write such a great review. You and Kristina were a great company who were already familiar with the history of the region beforehand and that made the day even more exciting. I even learned few new interesting historical facts, thank you. It was a great day for me too. Wish you all the best!
