We had a great experience on the boar tour! Everything went smoothly from start to finish, and the staff were super friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The trip was great! Our guide was sweet, he told us a few facts and gave us time to swim at the blue cave. Except there were like 10-15 other boats and I did not swim in the cave because I didn’t want to get ran over by how many boats there were. On the way back our guide let us stop at Perast where we could shop around for 20 minutes and do whatever, which was awesome. All around the trip was great, I just wish not everyone and their mother were also offering boat tours as it gets crowded really quick. On our trip there were 4 couples and the boat sat very comfortably.

Great Boat and Communication, but Blue Cave Experience Was Disappointing The company was extremely quick to respond to questions, which I really appreciated. We chose the VIP tour, and I would definitely recommend upgrading if you can. Having the extra room on the boat made the experience much more comfortable, and the towels provided were a really nice touch. My biggest disappointment was the Blue Cave itself. The tour photos show people swimming inside the cave, which was something I was really looking forward to and one of the reasons I chose this tour. Once we arrived, we were told there were too many boats and that swimming inside the cave would be dangerous. I completely understand putting safety first, but we did see people from other boats swimming in an area inside the cave, so it was disappointing that our tour did not offer that experience. We were able to swim just outside the cave, which was still nice, although there were plenty of boats there as well. We also spent very little time actually inside the Blue Cave, so there wasn’t much opportunity to enjoy it or even get many pictures. Overall, the company was responsive, the boat was comfortable, and I was very happy we chose the VIP option. I just wish the description and photos had better reflected the actual Blue Cave experience, as that was the part I was most excited about and it wasn’t quite what I thought I was booking.

Regarding the Blue Cave, we completely understand why this was disappointing, especially as swimming inside the cave was something you were looking forward to. Swimming inside the Blue Cave does often take place when conditions and boat traffic allow it, which is why the photos accurately represent the experience we regularly provide. On your particular day, however, the number of boats inside and around the cave made it unsafe to allow our guests to swim there. While other boats may have made a different decision, our guests’ safety is our main priority and responsibility, and we will always choose the safer option rather than take a risk. We’re glad you were still able to enjoy a swim outside the cave and that the rest of your VIP experience was comfortable. We also appreciate your feedback and are happy to hear that, overall, you were pleased with the boat, service and communication. Great service in the office and from our skipper. Friendly, knowlegable and made the journey. Group tour didnt feel too busy. This is a speed boat and choppy so bare in mind if thats not your thing. Bit of a sore neck the next day. Loved learning the history our skipper talked us through at various stops. Improvements would be longer swimming stop or a second swim spot and food and/or drink included would be good. Thanks for a great trip!

Your suggestions about a longer swimming stop or an additional swimming location are certainly worth considering. As for refreshments, bottled water is already included on board. We previously experimented with offering food as well, but with multiple tours running throughout the day, we found that it didn’t allow enough time for us to properly clean and reset the boat between departures. For us, keeping the boat clean and comfortable for every group is more important, so we decided to leave food out. Thank you again for the thoughtful feedback and for joining us. Wow...what an amazing 3 hour tour. Sea Star was easy to find in Kotor Port the directions from the cruise terminal were great...our two guides were very knowledgeable & friendly. Swam for 15 minutes at the Blue Cave which was ample. Stopped off in Perast on the way back....if you get chance climb the bell tower it gives you an amazing view of Kotor Bay for €2 each.
