The Korean BBQ night with Joe is so much fun. The food is delicious and he show us how to do bbq like a Korean! The people you meet are also so much fun! This is a great night and always a highlight of my trips to busan!

We had a lot of fun joking around with Joe, eating great food and learning about culture. Even though we were a small group, it felt like a party! Joe also gave us great recommendations for future meals and activity and took us to see a great overlook of the city. He helped us feel comfortable in a foreign country and get to enjoy a new dining experience. He also blew our minds speaking English, Spanish, Japanese, and Korean Forever grateful! And good luck in the future Joe!

With Joe as my food buddy, I was able to experience authentic Korean BBQ even as a solo traveler, and I loved it. Joe was born and raised in Busan and knows the city and the best BBQ restaurants like the back of his hand. He speaks excellent English, is delighted by any interest in Busan and South Korea, and is happy to answer any questions. Since Joe is also a stand-up comedian, he always keeps everyone laughing with his wit. The K-BBQ evening with Joe wasn’t just delicious, but also informative, educational, and simply very enjoyable. That’s because Joe didn’t just take care of the food. He also managed, in a very subtle and attentive way, to guide the group so that everyone felt comfortable, making it an entertaining and wonderful evening. It was even more than I had expected, and I really appreciated it. The Korean BBQ with Joe is an experience I can highly recommend.

We had an amazing night eating Korean BBQ with Joe and Andrew. This was the perfect opportunity for us to meet new people and hang out. I wish we were in Busan longer. I would have loved to do this again before we left. The food was hands down some of the best we've had out of our whole trip.

We had such a great night at the Korean BBQ with Joe we joined him again the next night! The meat was expertly grilled by the restaurant staff and everything was absolutely delicious, but the best thing is learning all about Korean culture and how central food and eating together is to that. We loved trying (and failing) at the drinking games and learning how to make ssam, and getting to know Joe and the others in the group over a feast. It’s a brilliant, fun night - I highly recommend it to anyone.

This is the second senior solo trip. I heard that there were deep yakiniku restaurants in the back alleys of Jagalchi in Busan… I had always been curious about this tour and applied immediately. Thanks to the jolly conductor's attention, it was so much fun that I was able to open up to the girls from Australia and Italy and join them for the after party. I even hugged him when we parted ways at the subway station. It really was what I expected, no, it exceeded my expectations. I want to participate again. This time, the 회식 tour of Korea is nice. Since then, I've had beer mixed with shochu 🤭

Joe is a very nice guy, easygoing and funny. It is really suitable for all ages to do this kbbq. I was a little hestitant to book, because didn’t know what to expect. But I had a great evening.
