Brilliant tour, so informative due to the excellent guide Evo who combined his extensive knowledge of history with his family’s personal experience. A 3 hour tour that went by so quickly because off the well constructed route and the content

Fantastic and very interesting tour!
Fantastic and very interesting tour! It was a great way to discover Sofia and learn more about Bulgaria’s communist past. The guide shared many fascinating stories and facts, making the history easy to understand and really engaging. The tour was well organized, informative and never boring. We learned a lot and saw the city from a completely different perspective. Definitely one of the highlights of our stay in Sofia. Highly recommended!

Dino was a wonderful tour guide. He gave a very well balanced and nuanced explanation of the communist era in Sofia/Bulgaria. I would highly recommend this tour and Dino as a guide!

Know more about the comunista period in Sofia
Very interesting tour, a journey in the history of that period and a very nice way to know more about what happened in Bulgaria. Our guide was very well prepared and gives us a lot of information about how people lived that period and about how the things changed after 1989 and in a recent period.

Interesting but not mandatory
The tour by itself is interesting if you just arrive in Sofia. I have been there for few days so I already have many information on the communist period.

Just wow
I thoroughly enjoyed this guided tour, which allowed me to learn more about the country's history. Ivelin ("Ivo") was the cream of the crop, and his explanations were very clear. Sharing anecdotes about his family made the tour even more enriching and touching. I loved walking around the city while learning. I highly recommend this tour.
