The tour was amazing! The volcano was definitely an amazing experience. We were able to get close to the waterfall which was breathtaking. Freddy and David were one of the best tour guides we have ever had. Recommend this tour any day!
This tour does not go to the La Paz waterfall park. It only does a stop on the side of the road by the waterfall. I booked this without realizing it did not include admission to the waterfall park. If you understand that ahead of time, and are ok with it, this was a good tour. However, there are other tours that take you into the waterfall park to see more falls as well as plants and animals, and these tours are pretty much the same price. Id highly recommend one of those for the value instead.
This was a good tour. The weather was cloudy so we didn’t get to see the crater at Poás, but that is nature! La Paz Waterfall was beautiful and our tour guide knew just the right spot for great pics! The coffee tour was very interesting too!
Our guide, George, went overboard to take care of us. His knowledge of Costa Rico and the sites was so interesting. Would highly recommend this tour.
Where do I begin? Of the three tours we took, this one was the highlight. Poas was clear and allowed us to take incredible photos. The sites along the way and stops for photo ops were great. La Paz was impressive as we got to see indigenous animals, hummingbirds, and waterfalls, as well as enjoy a great lunch. The hiking was taxing yet awesome! Olman is the consummate guide, patient and encouraging all to take advantage of every opportunity. You will not be disappointed.
The sights were amazing. Logistically there was a lot of little annoying details. Miscommunication between the driver and the organizer made us waste a lot of time. For example wrong tour time, hotel pick up location... things ended up starting at 11am. It just didnt feel things were organized well for us.
