The ferry itself was uneventful and ok. The 4 hours of wasted vacation time to and from koh lipe ( immigration, disembarkation, luggage retrieval) was a nightmare! I understand this isn’t the ferry company’s fault but i don’t recommend Koh Lipe for any travelers coming from Langkawi. Coming from within Thailand ( Koh Lanta, etc) probably mildly better since you presumably took care of immigration earlier.
Clear and effective communications from the tour operator. Tickets sent by email. Subsequent emails of recollection activities. Check in and immigration practices directly on Langkawi beach, everything organized very well. Loading suitcase and transfer to the ferry with longtailboat. Fast, comfortable and punctual ferry transfer. Quick and easy immigration practices on arrival. Everything perfect!
.very straight forward embarking the ferry, however remember to have your maylasia entry visa downloaded for disembarkation.

The long wait on the beach under the hot sun while bag-off-on took priority. Just make sure you visit the toilet before going onboard - especially ladies.
Dear EdgarC_E Thanks for the comment, and also for the recommendations. Travelling by sea can be slow and during transition of monsoon a bit rough.
