Desa Cow Farm er hjemsted for det lokale Desa mælkemærke, og gården er populær blandt både lokale og turister, og det er ikke svært at se hvorfor! Med en betagende udsigt over det majestætiske Mount Kinabalu med udsigt over grønne græsgange, er det ikke underligt, at det hedder 'Det Lille New Zealand' af Sabah.
Eftermiddag, frokost på lokal restaurant. Afgang til Poring Hot Spring med yderligere 45 minutters kørsel gennem landskabet, der passerer gennem Kundasangs grøntsagsdyrkningsby
Ved ankomsten, tag en 20 minutters vandretur for at nå Canopy Walkway. Oplev højden på 200 fod over jorden fra toppen af træet.

Kinabalu Park, verdensarvsstedet dækker et område på 754 kvadratkilometer, blev offentliggjort som en park i 1964. Grundlaget for etableringen af et beskyttet område i Kinabalu blev dannet efter en rapport fra Royal Society Kinabalu Scientific-ekspedition i 1962-1964 førte af prof. Corner. Det er den første park i den malaysiske Borneos delstat Sabah.

A very long day but most of it spent on the road. Kinabalu Park is like a little village centre with market and souvenir shops but all shops sell the same stuffs. Views of Mt Kinabalu is not exactly spectacular here. The gelato at Desa Farm is good, very sunny here though temperature not that high. Poring Hot Spring is just so-so, the waterfall is a disappointment. Overall not enjoyable especially the guide did not give much commentary about the places and history. He's quiet most of the time.

Do not travel with this company. We paid over $500 for a tour to mount kinabalu park and botanic gardens. We specifically chose a tour that didn’t go to the dairy farm (we live in dairy farm country and we’re not interested in this). We specifically wanted to go to the botanic gardens and mount kinabalu park which we booked. I even contacted the tour company to check on the pick up time and they told me that we were the only ones on the tour so I was a bit surprised when the bus was full. We got on our tour bus at 7am and they took us on a three hour drive which went to the dairy farm! When we questioned this as it wasn’t on our tour the driver just told us it was on his itinerary. So we thought it was just something that was on all the tours but then we discovered that we went going to go to the botanic gardens or Kinabalu park at all. We were 4 hours into the tour and couldn’t do anything but stay on the bus and complain to the company “Viator” when we got back. This company has refused to refund us for the tour which we paid for but they didn’t provide. They obviously put us on another tour as they wanted to save money as there would have been two half full tours otherwise, even though they were different tours. This is fraudulent behaviour when they take your money and don’t provide the service you have paid for. Don’t go with them. The tour that we went on was 81/2 hours on a bus and all we saw was a dairy warm (really why?), a market which was half closed the only thing open were stalls selling bits of food, and a lunch stop and visit to the canopy wall and hot pools (concrete baths full of hot water). It was not worth the 8+ hours of driving in an uncomfortable bus. We arrived back at 7pm (12 hours later!)

Amazing trip. Park Kinabalu is really unique in its nature and animals. The preserved nature allows you to truly experience the very old forest.
