Dagsvandringen er en udfordring, der giver en klient mulighed for at se, hvad kilimanjaro handler om, mens han nyder den smukke natur omkring. Denne vandretur er overskuelig især for folk, der enten ikke har tid nok eller økonomisk kapacitet til at tage hele vandreturen. Turen har smukt dyreliv såsom Monkeys colobus og blå fløjl, der er smukke fugleobservationer og vigtigst af alt er vegetationen såsom Eucalyptus træerne ikke noget at gå glip af. Turen begynder med en afhentning på dit hotel og kører i cirka en time til Marangu-porten, hvor vi begynder vandreturen. Vi vil vandre til Mandara-hytten, som er omkring 2700 m, og på vejen vil vi have mulighed for at se Maundi-krateret, som du vil være i stand til at se omgivelserne, herunder det nordlige Tanzania og Kenya. Efter at have fået en godt pakket frokost, vil vi vandre tilbage til parkens port, hvor vi starter vores køretur tilbage til Moshi by.

We had a fantastic day climbing from Marangu Gate to the Mandara Huts and back again. Our guide Alex was professional and provided us with lots of info during the hike, mixed with long peaceful stretches of beautiful hiking up Kilimanjaro. Alex provided a huge lunch at the huts and he made sure the pace matched our abilities. A must do if you don't want to go all the way to the top.
I was picked up at the guest house on time. The guide was very kind and enjoyed climbing, explaining the plants and monkeys. I was also happy to be approached by people to say that it was a good break and that it was a good pace. Even if I am not good at English, they were easy to understand, so I was relieved. Thank you very much.
Martin was a lovely guide who is an absolute expert on hiking the Kilimanjaro and is open to give you insights about the local life in Tanzania. The trek goes mostly through the rainforest and is nice but not outstanding so that 160$ is a lot of money for it. It was overall a good experience and the organization with Peter was absolutely perfect.
Excellent trip with Izack, he knows and loves the place so much. I enjoyed my time there, the forest is amazing. Highly recomended!
We had a great time doing the day hike to Mandara Hut and Maundi Crater. Our tour guide Jonson was amazing and we learned a lot about Kilimanjaro and it‘s nature. We also got lunchboxes with a lot of good food.
Very nice day hike to the first camp base of Marangu route, with the amazing guide Isaac, I recommend to do 100%. We start after a nice breakfast in Karibu Africa and the go to Marangu by car from the guest house.
