Ivuka Arts Center er et kunstcenter og kunstgalleri beliggende i Kigali, hovedstaden i Rwanda.
Stedet i Rwandas hovedstad Kigali, hvor ti belgiske FN-fredsbevarende styrker blev myrdet af hutu-ekstremisterne for at fremprovokere en tilbagetrækning af FN-styrkerne, som derefter banede vejen for det fulde omfang af det rwandiske folkemord.
Nyamirambo Women's Centre (NWC), en rwandisk NGO, blev lanceret i slutningen af 2007 af 18 rwandiske kvinder, der bor i Nyamirambo, Kigali. Sammen skabte de et projekt, der havde til formål at adressere kønsbaseret vold, kønsulighed og diskrimination. I dag er NWC’s mission at tilbyde uddannelse og erhvervsuddannelse til kvinder, der ikke har midlerne til at betale for sådan uddannelse på egen hånd, så de kan få bedre muligheder for beskæftigelse.

Kigali City Market er et fantastisk sted at spekulere igennem. Hej o en vis grad er de øverste niveauer meget som et indkøbscenter med stueetagen med leverandører af forskellige typer, herunder mad og husholdningsartikler. Handlende er engagerende og besværer ikke besøgende, det er nemt at tage billeder, og her er et bredt udvalg at se. Et par steder at spise og drikke også. Dette er ikke et turiststed, så ingen reelle kuriositeter og så videre, men frugt, te, kaffe, honning og så videre til salg, hvis det er det, du leder efter. Priserne var meget rimelige og ikke meget plads til forhandling, men også mindre pres for at købe. Et godt sted at udforske - intet reelt behov for en guide eller en "lokal" til at ledsage dig, da det er sikkert, godt let og har stor sikkerhed.

Our guide, Gloria was very knowledgeable. She did a great job telling us all about the city, we visited a woman’s center and got to stop and meet some of the women working. She had a wonderful sense of humor and kept us laughing all the way. Kigsli is a fascinating city.
